if it is still useful, I give them to charity or give them away for free. When it is not useful, then I give them to the recycling point

I use them. As long as they work. Nowadays my main computer is a desktop PC, but I still use my first laptop, which is a Toshiba Satellite A110-110 laptop from 2006. It was a gift for my 14th birthday, and it still works after almost 14 years. I will be 28 years old on 2020.09.17.
