Perfecting the token system
We have received tremendous support since the launching of token and dividend system. However, our effort to uplift EPC to the Moon has never stopped. By far, EPC is only good for claiming a share of daily dividend. This somehow forms a loop relationship between volume and dividend. High volume likely to feed a fat daily div pool, and juicy div is going to attract more volume. In bad days, both are likely to go down together if either one of the factors is going down. Instability like this is going to harm the platform in long term.
The system needs an incentive that is independent as a whole new attraction point. And that is what the team is working on for the last couple of weeks. We are going to unleash EPC greatest potential in the coming new release.
Conceptually, token burning and buyback(from house) are vital techniques in promoting token scarcity. But to combine these two concept while complimenting the current gaming flow is easier said than done. We've successfully blended the new elements in a very exciting and rewarding way that we bet no one has ever heard of in the gaming industry!
EPC will be given an actual internal rate against STEEM to replace the abstract value generated from speculation (think how SBD internal pegging system works). The best thing is, the actual rate will be adjusted as token scarcity grows. In other words, the direction EPC rate can go is only UP!
This is huge.
The team is working hard on finishing the last piece of puzzle for EPC token ecosystem. No promise on timeline will be given but one month from now should be a safe guess. Earn more and hold tight your EPC in the pocket before it gets super popular, time is ticking!
Sorry for not disclosing how exactly the new system is going to work, but here is a light dose of what the new interface looks like to cure some curiosities.
