I've been using eSteem

This isn't one of my usual posts, but I wanted to share this.

I've been posting/commenting using eSteem. (mainly I use the desktop version for windows) ↓ eswd.png

Other than having to wait for the web version to come out, I'm generally happy with it.

One thing I like about @good-karma (the creator) is that he doesn't seem to have the dictator mindset that people like ned/kim jong un have. ↓ gabgk.png

I don't know the guy and I have no connections to eSteem, but this kind of approach is very different from someone who's been trying to define what quality and good people are.

For every post/comment/etc, you get points. I have no idea whether they're going to be worth anything. I'll just collect them. ↓ Screenshot_2019-05-25-22-46-53.png

Right now, you can't check your points on the desktop version so you'd have to install the mobile version.

The app isn't perfect. I don't get the same ease of use that I get when I'm using twitter/instagram/etc. I shouldn't be comparing it to billion dollar companies, but oh well..

A lot has changed since then, but you get the general idea.

    Can you also recommend the mobile version of eSteem?

    I used it until last December, then I switched to Partiko, because eSteem v1 was rather outdated. Partiko also has some gamification (points that you collect and trade for upvotes) that kept me hooked, but now it has optional ads (which you can watch to get those points) and in general I'd prefer using open source software.

    never got into it, but i never really tried. i am using steempeak as i did from their beginning. one thing is they don't have any reward system or points but i find it to be simple and practical. i need to check esteem out again.

    I love the esteem community and the way they handle things. I am using their app too and collecting the points too. I don't know what they will be worth but one thing I am sure off is that it will be better than partiko points which are worth very little.

    Well said, @roundbeargames I love @esteemapp so I posted here once or twice. I know they need quality contents and thanks to @davidke20 for me times guided me to do better in posting. Than you @roundbeargames for sharing your thoughts here. There is no cheat today and you are absolutely right. Whal I had a problem in @esteemapp,i am just using mobile phone many time it keeps on lagging so I just posted once.

    I am also use Android app.. bt the main fact is this apps close/ crushed every 5 minist.. and of this i cant use properly .. bt dextop apps is cool..

    Been using multiple browsers and frontend for different account management, probably I can give it a try to replace one of the browsers. But I guess the whole point is "investing" in their native token?

    I once was using the Esteem app on my android phone but it is slow so I uninstall it and I have shift to steempeak. But still it is still a great tool

    esteem I used to have since long ago. But I have never seen the point. Maybe there's a new update in the app. Today I will update my app. Thanks :-)

    Some steemians have been recommending esteem to me for a long time. Maybe I'll give the mobile app a try. I tried the desktop but it was too slow.

    Even on desktop version, you need at least version 2 and above to effect the point collection. So as mobile. Majority of the time I'm using mobile app, so I have both 1.6 and 2.1. to check for your points, you need at least v2.1 and above. But again, as long the version is 2.0 and compatible, you will earn points via all activities. 🤓 Happy esteeming brother.

    I used to have Esteem but lately, I guess it got corrupted, it was giving all sorts of notifications from other people's accounts that has nothing to do with my account so I had to uninstall it. I am not sure if the devs are aware but that was kind of scary. I might reinstall it soon, because I loved how it gave free upvotes.
