This story begins with the mystery team hunting the usual monsters as we were used to in the animated series, but after great disputes between all of them, they end up separating and going their separate ways for two long years. After these two years the real story of this film begins, as the whole gang gets together again when they are invited to an island that has an amusement park called Spooky Island. Although this meeting was not very well liked by everyone, it ends up being the moment when they go back to their old ways.
As you would expect on the island, some extremely strange and somewhat frightening events begin to occur, forcing everyone to work together again to solve this new mystery. However, in the first parts of the film you can still feel the tension and discomfort between everyone because they were together again when they had split up badly two years ago. After a great adventure as well as a fun and entertaining story the mystery team manages to solve this mystery and they are as close as they used to be some time ago. The real enemy of this story was something really surprising and unexpected at the time because nobody expected it and it also brought back an old character that we had in our memories and of which we would never have thought that he would act as the bad guy of the story.

Esta historia comienza con el equipo de misterio a la orden cazando a los monstruos de costumbre como nos tenía acostumbrados la serie animada pero luego de grandes disputas entre todos terminan separándose y tomando caminos separados por dos largos años. Luego de estos dos años es donde comienza la verdadera historia de esta película pues la pandilla completa se reúne nuevamente cuando son invitados a una isla que posee un parque de atracciones la cual se llama Spooky Island, a pesar de que esta reunión no fue muy querida por todos termina siendo el momento donde vuelven a las andadas como es de costumbre.
Como es de esperar en la isla empiezan a ocurrir sucesos sumamente extraños y algo espeluznantes obligando a todos a volver a trabajar juntos para resolver este nuevo misterio pero en las primeras partes de la película aún se siente la tensión y molestia entre todos por el hecho de estar juntos otra vez cuando se habían separado de mala manera hace dos años. Luego de una gran aventura así como una divertida y entretenida historia el equipo de misterio a la orden logra resolver este misterio y vuelven a ser tan unidos como lo solían ser tiempo atrás. El verdadero enemigo de esta historia fue algo realmente sorpréndete e inesperado en su momento debido a que nadie se lo esperaba y además nos trajo de vuelta un viejo personaje que teníamos en nuestros recuerdos y del cual nunca se hubiera pensado que actuaría como el malo de la historia.
Sin ninguna duda lo mejor que tiene esta película es la calidad casi perfecta al momento de escoger a los actores que lograran interpretar de una manera sensacional a los famosos personajes animados de Scooby-Doo, cada uno de ellos logra hacer una interpretación tan fiel a la caricatura que se disfruta mucho de este Live Action. Adicional a ello el diseño computarizado de Scooby-Doo es sin ninguna duda de los mejores que ha existido en todos los trabajos Live Action que se han realizado, un Scooby-Doo tan realista, divertido y peculiar que es tan parecido al carismático y adorado Scooby en su versión caricatura, no puedo dejar de pensar como en esa época por allá en el 2002 nos entregaron esta obra maestra de gran calidad y casi 20 años más tarde hacen una completa aberración con modelos para Live Action como fue el caso del primer diseño de Sonic para su película. Scooby-Doo Movie resulto ser la mejor película para ver si fuiste fanático de sus caricaturas de niño
