Actually, I wanted to report about my working day after Austria has shut down to minimal operation. My day in the office was relatively normal as usual, except that we somehow laughed more. Some things weren't really laughable, but the day has passed and work was easier. |
Eigentlich wollte ich über meinen heutigen Arbeitstag berichten, nachdem Österreich auf Minimalbetrieb heruntergefahren ist. Mein Tag im Büro war relativ normal wie immer, außer dass wir irgendwie mehr gelacht haben. Manches war zwar nicht wirklich zum Lachen, aber der Tag ist vergangen und die Arbeit ging leichter von der Hand. |

Otherwise, I didn't notice much of a "minimal operation", except that the traffic on the streets was a little less than usual. Of course, the overall mood is a bit depressed and everyone is wondering what will happen now, whether the measures will really work or whether we will isolate ourselves for nothing. I also wondered if maybe we should have made hamster purchases like everyone else, but after my wife came home with two large packs of toilet paper earlier, I knew that at least this problem was none since Saturday the shelves with the toilet paper were empty. | Ansonsten habe ich nicht viel mitbekommen von einem "Minimalbetrieb", außer dass der Verkehr auf den Straßen etwas weniger war als sonst. Natürlich ist die gesamte Stimmung etwas gedrückt und jeder fragt sich, was nun werden wird, ob die Maßnahmen wirklich funktionieren werden oder wir uns umsonst isolieren. Ich habe mich auch gefragt, ob wir vielleicht wie alle anderen Hamsterkäufe hätten machen sollen, aber nachdem meine Frau vorhin mit zwei großen Packungen WC-Papier nach Hause gekommen ist, wusste ich, dass zumindest dieses Problem keines mehr ist, denn am Samstag waren die Regale mit dem Toilettenpapier leer gewesen. |

My children are both free of school and work for a few weeks and they are already bored. Fortunately, the weather is warm like spring, so my son can ride the motorbike around the lake now and then, which he has done twice today, and my daughter went out with the skateboard earlier. We are not locked up and if you want to get some fresh air, you can of course do it. But you should do these activities alone or with the people you are living with together. | Meine Kinder haben beide für ein paar Wochen frei und denen ist jetzt schon langweilig. Glücklicherweise ist das Wetter frühlingshaft warm und so kann mein Sohn mit dem Motorrad hin und wieder um den See fahren, was er heute bereits zwei Mal gemacht hat, und meine Tochter ist vorhin mit dem Skateboard raus. Wir sind ja nicht eingesperrt und wenn man an die frische Luft will, dann darf man das natürlich machen. Aber man soll diese Tätigkeiten alleine oder mit den Menschen machen, mit denen man ohnehin zusammen lebt. |
Pulmonaria officinalis / Geflecktes Lungenkraut

I am quite sure that these flowers are called Pulmonaria officinalis, but I have never seen photos with such dark leaves, because they are usually green with light spots. In any case, the small flower belongs to the family of Pulmonaria. Because of the different flower colors, this flower is also called Hansel and Gretel or little brother and little sister in German. | Bei dem Gefleckten Lungenkraut bin ich mir zwar sicher, dass es so heißt, aber ich habe nirgendwo Fotos mit so dunklen Blättern gesehen, denn normalerweise sind sie grün mit hellen Flecken. In jedem Fall gehört die kleine Blume zur Familie der Lungenkräuter (Pulmonaria). Wegen der verschiedenen Blütenfarben wird diese Blume unter anderem auch Hänsel und Gretel oder Brüderchen und Schwesterchen genannt. |

I took all three photos with the Sigma 105mm macro lens. You can easily see that I did focus stacking when you look at the photos in fullsize view, because there were some difficulties especially with the flowers, so that not everything I wanted to be sharp became sharp. | Alle drei Fotos habe ich mit dem Sigma 105mm Makroobjektiv fotografiert. Dass ich Focus Stacking gemacht habe, könnt ihr ganz leicht erkennen, wenn ihr die Fotos in der Vollansicht anschaut, denn speziell bei den Blümchen hat es einige Schwierigkeiten gegeben, so dass nicht alles scharf geworden ist, was ich scharf haben wollte. |
