HISTORY AND SYNOPSIS
HISTORIA Y SINOPSIS
Esta historia se centra en un Japón feudal azotado por constantemente por desastres naturales, guerras, hambruna y enfermedades, hasta que finalmente un hombre con ansias de poder llamado Daigo decide hacer algo al respecto.
Es entonces cuando conocemos a Hyakkymaru, nuestro protagonista, quien tuvo que pagar el precio del futuro nuevo estatus de su padre y debido a esto al nacer le fueron arrebatados sus extremidades, sentidos y su piel. Y este al llegar a la adolescencia decide recuperar lo que le fue quitado, para ello emprende un viaje lleno de aventuras donde conocerá a personajes muy peculiares, entre ellos Dororo, quien le acompañara durante el transcurso de esta gran aventura llena de Venganza.

PERSONAJES
Un punto fuerte para este anime son sus personajes, desde monje ciego que caza demonios hasta un chico que sería la versión japonesa de Sharkboy, cada personaje tiene una historia y trasfondo que logra darle un muy buen desarrollo o desempeño sin importar cuan corta sea su aparición. Aunque en lo personal mi personaje favorito debido a su historia y desarrollo es definitivamente Jukai.
A strong point for this anime is its characters, from a blind monk who hunts demons to a guy who would be the Japanese version of Sharkboy, each character has a story and background that manages to give a very good development or performance no matter how short their appearance is. Although personally my favorite character because of his story and development is definitely Jukai.

If you see among the tags of the anime you will see the category "Demons" and it is because these are the ones that Hyakkymaru must kill to recover his body, because of this and the time in which the story takes place, in this anime there are many references to Japanese culture and mythology, so much so that at the end of each episode there is an illustration of the Demon of the mythology that was treated in that chapter.
Si ven entre lo tags del anime verán la categoría “Demonios” y es porque estos son los que Hyakkymaru debe matar para ir recuperando su cuerpo, debido a esto y a la época en la que se desarrolla la historia, en este anime hay muchas referencias a la cultura y mitología Japonesa, tanto así que al final de cada episodio hay una ilustración del Demonio de la mitología que se trató en ese capítulo.

OPINIÓN PERSONAL
For me this anime, as I said before, does not have the recognition it deserves, since in only 24 chapters it manages to tell us a story with many other stories behind it and gives us a self-conclusive ending. Besides that in this anime there is a little bit of everything, it has its strong moments, comic reliefs, sad moments and very good fights, in short a good anime with a well told and very enjoyable story.
Para mí este anime, como dije anteriormente, no tiene el reconocimiento que merece, ya que en tan solo 24 capítulos logra contarnos una historia con muchas otras historias detrás de ella y nos da un final auto-conclusivo. Además de que en este anime hay de todo un poco, tiene sus momentos fuertes, alivios cómicos, momentos tristes y muy buenas peleas, en resumen un buen anime con una historia bien contada y muy disfrutable.
