Dragon ball lamp

My Dragon Balls "lamp"... full description and version en español abajo...

English:

Hi everybody, Sometime ago i bought a pack of balls from Dragon ball and there were sitting in there in their box without any kind of charm to the eye... so i started to imagine something to do with them...

Last week i received a package with a set of drill bits and some of them were "Copas"... i dont know the word in english for this thing... their are to make huge holes in wood, not the ones for screws but to put big things like cables...

So i started with a rough and very poor draft of the idea...

Then i found some scraps of thin wood and start to make this rings to use as holders of the balls...

The first idea was to make tripod holders so they can stand from its own but later found a piece of telgopor (i dont know this word nether)... and found a better way to hold everything together...

A few tries and some paint later, i have the first concept done...

Now the lights... leds, cables and a piece of board from a arduino set... a few hours setting everything up and getting everything neat and clean...

Some pieces of fabric from the inside of a pillow to play as clouds and boom!

My dragon balls finally getting a more interesting place in my collection...

Hola a todos, Hace algún tiempo compré un paquete de bolas de Dragon Ball y allí estaban sentadas en su caja sin ningún tipo de encanto a la vista ... así que comencé a imaginar algo que ver con ellas ...

La semana pasada recibí un paquete con un juego de brocas y algunas de ellas eran "Copas" ... son para hacer agujeros enormes en madera...

Entonces comencé con un borrador áspero y muy pobre de la idea ...

Luego encontré algunos trozos de MDF y comencé a hacer estos anillos para usar como sostenedores de las bolas ...

La primera idea fue hacer trípodes para que puedan sostenerse por sí mismos, pero luego encontre una pieza de telgopor y una mejor manera de mantener todo unido ...

Unos cuantos intentos y algo de pintura después, tengo el primer concepto hecho ...

Ahora las luces ... leds, cables y un tablero de un set de arduino ... unas horas configurando todo y poniendo todo limpio y ordenado ...

¡Algunas piezas de vellon del interior de una almohada para las nubes y boom!

Mis bolas de dragón finalmente obtuvieron un lugar más interesante en mi colección ...
