Around the world challenge: January 22 2024

Just a normal day at work yesterday. Not much to report and an average number of steps, but I realised I haven’t done and Actifit report for quite some time.

Gone is the habit of daily posting while walking at lunch. I wanted to post less reports, so I can find my long form content easier and also concentrate more on financial/gaming content, but it kinda backfired in such a way that I let the habit go almost completely 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not that I could write them in this weather while it’s raining and so windy that it almost broke another umbrella anyway, but I should probably post a little more regularly, whenever possible.

Anyway, part of the reason why I decided to post today was that I just found out about ‘Around the world challenge’ by @bucipuci and I decided to participate for the first time.

To make it easier I am only attaching that one picture. I love the frozen lake, the picturesque trees and even a tiny moon that was ever so bright in the past week coming up to full moon this week.

It was taken in Southampton Common Park, where I often walk on Fridays, around lunchtime with my friend Laleh. Over the years we go from meeting there for a walk every single week to every other week, to not at all for a while, but sooner or later we’re always back at it.

Last Friday was that time when she messaged me after a few months break and we decided to get back to weekly walks. That topped up my steps for a day nicely, but my weekend was so busy with other stuff 😉 that I completely forgot to post!

Well, at least I will have tons of nice pictures for a Wednesday walk this week. Let’s hope I’ll use them.
