Saint-Nicolas challenge for well-behaved girls and boys

You've been a good boy or girl all year with all your Hive friends? Perfect, you are just a few steps away from getting an exclusive badge.

Why celebrate Saint Nicholas?

Saint Nicholas' Day, observed on December 6 in Western Christian countries, December 5 in the Netherlands and December 19 in Eastern Christian countries, is the feast day of Saint Nicholas.

It is celebrated with particular regard to his reputation as a bringer of gifts.

In Ukraine, children wait for St. Nicholas to come and to put a present under their pillows provided that the children were good during the year. Children who behaved badly may expect to find a twig or a piece of coal under their pillows.

In the Netherlands, "Dutch children put out a clog filled with hay and a carrot for Saint Nicholas' horse. On Saint Nicholas' Day, gifts are tagged with personal humorous rhymes written by the sender."

In the United States, one custom associated with Saint Nicholas Day is children leaving their shoes in the foyer on Saint Nicholas Eve in hope that Saint Nicholas will place some coins on the soles, for them to awake to. _{Source Wikipedia}

Hi everyone. This year I´ve been a really good girl, as never. I have worked a lot to substain my animal pack, including my family, Hahahaha :p My boat didn´t sink on corona virus quarentene, but I had to passed a mindset prove. I became a delivery on a bike. Thanks God I found this temporary solution, also I became a hiver, and I love it. I used to pray with my cats for a creativity solution, I think my prays were listened. December saves the year.

I want to recieve from Santa two big hamburguers with frenchfries, a pack of beer and a joint. And being with my animal pack!

Dear Santa: Really, this year has been very tough, especially with the issue of confinement. I only want two things:
- That the value of HIVE/SBD, go up to 10$, this year has been a great support for my family. Also to be able to buy a lot of carrots for the reindeer, don't think I've forgotten that

I was definitely a good girl this year! I converted all my icky, blue STEEM to lovely red HIVE, as red as your coat! I helped folks in TheTerminal to learn about blockchains and etiquette on Hive, and I wore my face mask so no one got sick while I was showing them around the blockchain!
This year, I'd like to see all the political unrest in the world come to an end, and for folks to strive harder to get along with each other. Maybe you could create a "Time-Out Corner" for the people that don't behave...?
Your donkey deserves a treat, and will probably be more useful to you if he's on a 'Sugar Rush' so I put his carrots into a sweet cake this year! Be sure you get a piece, too! 😁

I think I was a good boy this year and deserved some gifts, right? Just don't do like last time, okay? Last December, I was a little tired and over travelled, and I asked you to give me more cozy evenings at home this year - but I did not ask you to quarantine the whole world, close the borders, so it would be very difficult for me to go anywhere even if I wanted to?! I think it was a little overkill.

This time I will be more specific in my desires - please give me a nice long-awaited trip on a dive safari for a week or so (but only in warm water - I'm not quite ready to swim among ice floes yet) on a large beautiful yacht with a huge number of interesting underwater animals... Oh dear Saint Nicholas, please please me! I would very much like a Gibson EDS-1275 cherry-coloured double neck electric guitar. Someone told me in childhood that if you hung a shocks with the list of gifts you want, outside your house, then Saint Nicholas came in night and put all your gifts there.

Frankly, it's been tough to behave being cooped up in my place without good role models around to encourage me. 2. I would love to have a Megahive, (note NOT a Meagtron Tron is a bad word), Rocket Launcher. I would then use it to strap 5 hive to and send it toward the moon. That might start Hive on it's way to the moon. If you don't have a Megahive Rocket launcher, maybe one of those little Bumble Bee camaro's to putter our way to at least the 9th fairway.

in Austria you go by foot and there's no donkey accompanying you, so I am sorry, but I don't have a carrot 🥕 prepared for you. Also, here you have a thick book with you, wherein you can read whether one was a good boy or not. So I don't need to lie to you because you know everything anyway 😉

There's only one big wish I have: let the Hive raise to the moon that I can buy me my own car for photo trips. Well, I have a car, but this one is occupied by my son to go to work and to drive around the lake with his girlfriend. I get it only when the fuel tank needs a refill 😂

It's not an event celebrated in the UK, but I saw it in Germany when I lived there. Seems like a bonus for kids where they have it.
