Hi I'm new here and was brought in by Steem Monsters. I do Japanese blogs on another site so I wanted to try English blogs here. I'm a Japanese, a nurse, a mother, and love games. Im a good cook and can also play the piano well. Please support me and I will be happy.はじめまして、よろしくお願いします. Please be nice to me.

(air quotes)Fun fact as a Japanese nurse I have to give baths to dead people and stuff there holes with cotton and even put make up on them so there family can see them in respectable condition.

Welcome to Steemit! Original content does best here, same with being chill/kind (posts can't be deleted once someone comments or votes on them). If you're into art, film, or odd life posts, feel free to follow. I'd avoid vote bots, but they're pretty common and may be useful.

A few of my fav's here and tools, old news or not:
1. Maybe try Partiko as an interface, if you haven't. It's great. Lion Suit ref link: https://partiko.app/referral/lionsuit
2. Keep your eyes open for @Steemeum's return, which will be pretty cool. It slowly mines you Steem, but you have to reach out to them on Discord and research.
3. @SteemBasicIncome is rad too. Check em out.
4. You can purchase cryptocurrency on Coinbase.com depending on your country and send/convert it to Steem in your account, then power up to increase your voting power faster. Coinbase Bonus ref link (earns both parties BTC after a point): https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a2066fc0aacb20117035522
5. PALnet is something to look into: you can post there, it posts also to Steemit for you, and you can earn PALCOIN there as well as Steem on Steemit for the same post.
6. DTube (Steemit's YouTube challenger) just had some neat updates -- @DTube
7. Look out for scams and protect your keys (passwords).

Welcome to steemit!

Here is some information every newbie should know, followed :
- The value of an upvote is related to how much Steem Power the upvoter holds, as well as the current market price for the STEEM cryptocurrency coin.
- Upvotes are not infinite, but they recharge. The more upvotes a person uses, the less it will be worth next time. On average, each person can give 10 full upvotes per day, because it's also how much upvotes recharge daily. People have to pick between many posts to decide what they're going to upvote, often choosing something they like but also taking profits into consideration. If someone doesn't upvote you, they could be waiting for their voting to recharge.
- Your free account started with a borrowed 15 Steem Power. As you earn from your posts and comments, that will be taken away until you're standing on your own feet in the platform.
- Remember to both give and take. If people only want to take away from the platform, the STEEM coin will eventually be worth nothing, because then everyone wants to sell while noone would be willing to buy.
- If you run into posting limitations, that means you need more Steem Power. It's like a "bandwidth". The more you hold, the more you can do. It recharges, but slowly if you don't have much SP.
- Steem Power can be bought, but it can also be delegated (borrowed/lent) using a steemit command. It can be undone by using a similar command too, so the delegator is in complete control.
- You can check those bandwidth and voting metrics on the steemnow website.

You should also check out DTube and DSound for starters and if you're a gamer, Splinterlands! There are many other cool apps but I can't list them all here, there's just too many!
