WHY DON'T MINNOWS DON'T GET UP VOTES; WILL ANYONE GIVE ME UP VOTE

This post is to make whales realize that they don't give attention to the minnows

The up votes or curation rewards are becoming harder for early users, when new starters start they receive up votes from no one or from just other minnow friends. Steemit guides to support the minnows but the big whales who are today at steemit, they don't help the minnows to start. Steemit guides the minnows to keep on and wait with patience but how could they do so if there is no hope or help from the whales. Steem community has really changed and today It is turning just like in to the corrupt world today where rich steemians(high reputation) don't give interest to any poor minnow(low reputation). If there won't be a bond between steemians then the community will not be for new steemians just the old one. don't you all think there should be a right for minnows too, I mean if they won't help then who will.

Hi and welcome :D Im here by refearal, i hear you need some help??? First of whales dont know you even exsist LOL but im a 3 times dolphin ;) reson they dont, is-do you know how many users there is on this platform??? Yes the Rc for redfish/minnows are limited and thats why i am here to see if i can help you along :) But complaining the game isnet fare; is NOT the way to go... You must focus on your own content, be consistent, you must post daily, engage with otheres to get said upv, this takes time.. a LOT of time... Gaining recognition here, isent done in a day week or so.... We with bigger sp act, have done this already, we know the struggle but you need to pay us respect and work the platform before you start complaining.... I dont recomend waiting for the shiney whale from the sky to come.. as it might never happend...

Also- try to diversify your posts? Do you like sports, music and eco matters? Mix it up to draw in various types of readers.

Join challenges!! This is a big one. Plus, they're fun and encouraging.

Pay attention to what's trending... What are people upvoting? What of that interests you? How can you work that knowledge into your activity?

I understand that no two people will experience the same thing however; due to personal experience I cannot say that I agree with this statement.

I'm new. I opened my account in March but didn't even bother with it until very recently.

    I've grown fast.

I've grown with the help of some great people but, also with a lot of work on my part.

I've learned that to grow on Steemit one must utilize their best skills and interests, they must constantly be learning about the Steemit network and also the community.

I won't lie, if it weren't for a couple very helpful people here I'm not sure that I'd have been inspired to keep up like I have. I wouldn't have seen the potential.

If we are considering dollar revenue, I'm not doing that great myself but... that isn't what I'm trying to do just yet.

I'm focusing on getting attention... making myself known, showing what I'm capable of beyond writing, creating my little home here.

I think that this is similar to moving to a new community- it takes time to be noticed. Similarly, we need to "join clubs" and "go for walks and wave to people".

I don't just try to get the attention of any whales, I only want the attention from those who like my work, personality, potential, etc. and who's work I also enjoy reading and watching. People who inspire and are inspired by me. I think that it's important to do it this way because it is genuine. I'm not commenting on posts to get the attention - I'm commenting because I want to and have something genuine to say. If they whales see me, great! If not, that wasn't my primary intent and I know that someone else will notice.

I also follow and support the minnows. Now, this here is why I think I'm being seen. I'm not tunnel visioned on getting upvotes from the deep pockets, I've very quickly displayed that I'm supporting the little guy too; not just with votes but genuine comments, support, guidance, advice, and encouragement to join groups and challenges etc.

I'm not saying that you aren't doing these things- I've only so far read this post and have no idea how active you are here. I'm just saying what I think is working for me.

Hi and welcome here! When I started on steemit, my biggest problem was to find interesting people to interact with. So, to help newcomers getting started I created a directory with other interesting and or talented steemians to follow or interact with. Feel free to check it out at https://www.steemiandir.com I am sure it will help you find like-minded people. Enjoy your stay here and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
