I Never Properly Introduced Myself To The Steemit Community

My buddy @blewitt got me on steemit, encouraged me to make an introduction post. I never did. After seeing a couple of other people do it. I started to realize, it was kind of a dick move. Figured I’d give you some fun facts about myself:

  • Grew up in Jersey (I hate this state)
  • I’m a big nerd, love comic books and anything related to them.
  • I sell collectibles online for extra cash (I’ve never spent a dollar of any of the money I made online, I always reinvested it, I'm currently in the process of liquidating my entire inventory, I’ve been putting all of my revenue into the stock market)
  • I'm pretty big on investing (I’ve got an MA in accounting, so understanding finance comes naturally)
  • I used to work in a psychiatric hospital (one of the craziest things I've ever seen, was watching a girl eat a piece of shit)
  • I'm married to a Polish girl (hence my affinity for European women, this gave birth to the European Girl Of The Day)
  • I'm mostly Italian (my mom is an off the boater & half my dad’s family are off the boaters, I’ve got a love-hate relationship with being Italian, its a beautiful culture, but I often get annoyed by the people, I tell my wife, ”the only thing wrong with Italy, is it's filled with Italians!”
  • Up until this last election I considered myself center left, I’ve always been opposed to welfare and I’m extremely fiscally conservative, I aligned more socially with the Democrats until recently (they used to be the party of free speech and anti war). I switched sides politically after Bernie had the nomination stolen from him (I hated Sanders then, just as I do now, it just seemed wrong) I became obsessed with figuring out the truth about politics from that day forward. Becoming a conservative was definitely a process and even lost me a couple of friendships (I'm a blatantly honest person, so calling my leftist and liberal friends idiots may have contributed).

That's all I can think of currently, that's even remotely interesting about me on a surface level. Most of my posts will be political, I'm going to try contributing financial advice eventually (stock tips and the like). If for nothing else, give me a follow just based on the European Girl Of The Day!
