Rose Garden in the Center of the National Garden in Suncheon

The meaning of the name ‘Suncheon’ is following the will of the heaven. In oriental society, the heaven was a metaphor of ordinary people. So following the will of the heaven means the politicians have to hear the voice of his people. I don’t know how this city could get that name. But anyway, I adore the name of city, “Suncheon”.

There was a rose garden in the center of the garden. In my opinion, the reason why they decided May flower festival, I photographed these photos in May, was May was the season for the Roses.

The rose was said as the Queen of the flowers.

It was British garden where the roses were blooming. It was not a large place, but I could smell British atmosphere.

Such am amazing and breathtaking sight. I've heard so much about about Suncheon, South Korea. I think I might add it to my bucket list.

Meanwhile, which camera did you use to capture these pictures? They are distinctively amazing. Let me guess; it's a DSLR camera right?

The garden looks very beautiful, roses are fresh and nice strong colors. I believe here in UK, the people like such rose garden. We have a little rose garden too, but may be due to rough climate there are not many roses there. As a child I likes to smell the roses, do you know that there is a rose petal jams too?

What a lovely arch with roses! I like the arches and arbors, shrouded in roses, when I will complete the construction of my house, I will plant the same rose near the arch! Or maybe next to the gazebo, if I will have it, it's also very beautiful!

NIce post. The roses is very charming and can imagine the fragrance. Rose is about a beauty which spread by fume and various color not just a symbol, it make your soul lift up you will find heaven

@slowwalker, It mean a lot. No need to wonder how beautiful there. As for my country I never seen like these big rose garden anywhere. Different kind of coloring roses growing in the Suncheon garden. Also these blossoms scenery more wonderful.

So really, the non-standard name of this city. And if this name is helping the authorities to hear the people, then this is great. Arch with the roses looks so beautiful😍I noticed that the arch is wooden, this is such an interesting solution in this British garden.

I have no surprise as for the meaning of following heaven's which "Suncheon" means because a look at that scenery and I see the most loveliest of flowers ever planted really, Wow look at the quality of the pictures @slowwalker
