The hill behind the houses is the dominant height in our area. According to legend, it was there that 13 heroes arrived from the Novgorod lands and founded a fortress in the middle of the Mordvinic lands.

Городище, возвышенность за пятиэтажками, - это господствующая высота на нашей местности. По легенде именно туда пришли 13 богатырей с Новгородских земель и основали крепость посреди земель мордвы.

Когда-то в Советское время там вели раскопки капища, потом всё закрыли, зарыли... По легенде - в глубинах этого городища есть коммуникации древние. Еще наверху была вышка для прыжков с парашютом. В 90-х годах местный исследователь древних легенд и сказок с помощью молодёжи установил наверху крест и 13 больших камней, символизирующих богатырей.

Хочется туда сходить, но лучше это делать весной, когда трава еще не выросла. Или поздней осенью. Я думаю, что сделаю еще это. У меня есть видео на кассетах, которое я сделал после рождения дочери. Это было 23 года назад. С тех пор я там и не бывал. :)
