Summer Daze

As the days start to ebb Like the tides from the shore The warmth of relaxing times Soon to be no more

Like a cherished friend From a simpler existence Come and gone again As I ponder the distance

I bid you farewell And await your return Bringing the nostalgia For the days with no concerns

I searched for a quote or anything that would relay my thoughts but nothing came close so I decided to practice with some poetry. It's a little cheesey but it makes my point.

I'm keeping it short and simple today hoping that my bit of writing helps you remember the time when we had so few cares. Thanks for reading.

That is very nice. What's great about every season change, is that new nostalgia comes in with the next turn. Ahh the smell of autumn, crunchy leaves under foot, Halloween decorations...
