Today is #MarketFriday initiated by @dswigle (Denise, that's me!!) Join me as we share our markets across the globe. I always look forward to seeing what you send me! It is amazing to see the different markets and cultures of our friends here on steemit. Going places, doing things, buying merchandise. I have been surprised by many, not being familiar with the culture and I must say that it has been such an educational experience for me in so many ways and I hope for you also.
I am still away, cruising the Caribbean at this time, where the sun and shine have been readily available. So, humor me this week. The cruise was purchased, so, I have decided to share its fun or a small peek of it. I hope you will come along for the free ride as we sail into the Caribbean. No purchase necessary. Don't forget to wander through the state of the art spa, the amaing waterpark, the place that gamblers anonymous needs to visit, the gym, pools and the many upscale shops and eateries. Don't forget to come up for air! It can get quite taxing.

I walk about gathering my thoughts, my eyes seeing the splendor that was to be mine for almost a month. I have to wonder what was used for such inspiration, the over the top amazing touches used on this ship. The international flavor of it adds to her already amazing personality. I try to focus on what is before me and how they built around it. Welcome aboard the MSC Mereviglia! Relax and enjoy! Close your eyes and embrace the luxury.

The staircase. It is one of the most beautiful staircases I have seen on a cruise ship. Tiny Swarovski crystals individually set in the stairs to give them a royal appeal. You cannot help but, glide down the stairs, the beauty of your gown clearly enhanced by the glimmer of it. As you descend, the soft playing of the piano drifts up from the Infinity Atrium. The entire experience takes your breath away. It really does.

The promenade, which stretches across nearly the entire ship has a surprising huge (I just googled it and it is a 5,200-square-foot screen overhead, sort of like a tv, curved, of course) and it has different ceilings all through the day and night. Oh, they are amazing!

The ceiling changed many times during the day, almost always accommodating what was going on around the ship.

There were restaurants on the second floors of the promenade and it was overlooking the main walkway, you could see and be seen. Different themed parties every night, You could go to all or none of them, dealers choice. There was a white night, where you dressed in all white, a wonderful turnout for that and a Halloween costume party, a 70's party, On and on. It was fun and quite entertaining. Then, of course, there is a formal night abut every three or four days. Steet parties on a regular basis. I need to come home to rest a bit.

Talk about sweet? There is an award-winning master chocolatier and pastry chef on board. I went to the shop every morning for his special brew. Oh, coffee won't ever taste the same. And the lamb chops were New Zealand specials. The best.

And because things were so incredible already, they presented several shows with Cirque du Soleil. How classy was that? Below, one of the stages that they presented on.
As always, there must be a flower to color my world.

Onward to the pub~!!

And just like that, this post is done! Sorry for the brevity, but, wanted to get this done before my welcome got old or my bandwidth was done. So, as always, I wish you a great day! #MarketFriday loves you and so do I!

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.

they set my aunts house on fire i cried the way women on tv do folding at the middle like a five pound note. i called the boy who use to love me tried to ‘okay’ my voice i said hello he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
i’ve been praying, and these are what my prayers look like; dear god i come from two countries one is thirsty the other is on fire both need water.
later that night i held an atlas in my lap ran my fingers across the whole world and whispered, "where does it hurt?" it answered,
"everywhere" "everywhere" "everywhere"
