It was a cloudy and rainy day. The sky that was supposed to be behind the tree was completely obscured by low clouds and fog.

Es war ein trüber und regnerischer Tag. Der Himmel, der eigentlich hinter dem Baum sein sollte, war komplett von tiefen Wolken und Nebel verdeckt.

In addition to the black and white conversion of the photo, I have played a bit with the possibilities of Photoshop.

Neben der Schwarzweiß Konvertierung des Fotos habe ich noch ein bisschen mit den Möglichkeiten von Photoshop gespielt.

I already photographed and posted this tree a few times earlier this year. 10 days ago I drove by again and took pictures of some other trees first and then this one. This time I stayed a bit further on the field and photographed with the 70-200mm lens from there.

Diesen Baum habe ich bereits ein paar Mal Anfang des Jahres fotografiert und gepostet. Vor 10 Tagen bin ich wieder einmal vorbeigefahren und habe an der Stelle zuerst ein paar andere Bäume fotografiert und dann auch diesen. Diesmal bin ich etwas weiter weg auf dem Feld geblieben und habe mit dem 70-200mm Objektiv von dort aus fotografiert.

I hope the weather will get better tomorrow, because I would like to go outdoors again to take pictures.

Ich hoffe, dass das Wetter morgen wieder besser wird, weil ich ganz gerne wieder einmal nach Draußen zum Fotografieren möchte.

There is a tree that sits on a hill very similar to this in my home town. It is a very happy subject for my amateur photography and provides a mild challenge at any time of year.

This shot is excellent.
