OCD Account Update - Week 42

In the spirit of transparency I will be posting in this account the metrics that determine the stakes and payouts for the @ocd curators. I have all this information in a bunch of spreadsheets and I will be posting it weekly (I hope) on this account.

We used to share the stats some time ago in the account @ocd-accounting but from the issue #285 I will be publishing official information here.

How the payouts work?


@ocd will be posting the curation compilations with a 50% - 50% rewards setting, all the earnings will go for the curators and will be distributed as follows:

Liquid rewards (SBD’s and Steem, if generated, paid after 7 days):

25% will be paid to the author of the compilation.

75% will be distributed equally among the curators whose nominations appear in the publication. 1 share per nomination. This means a curator will be paid only if his/her nomination appears in the “OCD Daily: Issue”.

SP rewards. (Steem Power generated by the post):

This will be kept in the @ocd account and will be paid, ideally, once a quarter. The distribution will be done as follows:

For each nomination published in the compilations, each curator will earn one stake. Every week, these shares will be counted and all the SP generated will be divided between those stakes. The accumulated SP will be saved in the form of Steem, thus saving the SP from diluting over time by highs and lows in the price of Steem.
