At my home, I give shelter to several cats who, although not mine, come to me for food and warmth. I gladly do so, and I feed them whenever I can.
Like me, I know there are other people who do the same work of caring for and protecting these pets, and they do it much better than I do. However, what angers me and what I don't understand is that there are heartless people who poison them. This action is a crime and a cruel act of evil. They resort to this because the feline population is very large, but it's not the most effective solution, and I feel utter disgust for this act.
These poisonings are very common in my neighborhood. We still haven't found the person responsible for these crimes against these defenseless pets. We have suspicions about who it could be, but we're not certain.
Several of the cats that have come to my home seeking shelter have ended up poisoned, and it's a very unpleasant feeling. Only one cat has survived out of all the cats that have been poisoned so far. This cat is my middle cat, and she's been so traumatized that she won't leave the porch. The other kittens weren't so lucky; the poison was fatal.
If you find an abandoned cat, take care of it and try to find it a home. It's a good deed that may not be rewarded, but it's better to do something commendable. Don't poison them because it's a crime; they are defenseless beings who deserve to live.

Hace un mes enveneron uno de los gatos que cuidaba, se me hizo extraño no haberlo visto en la noche y cuando amaneció no fue a saludar como siempre hacia en las mañanas, no pasó mucho tiempo cuando una vecina tocó mi puerta y me dijo que Amarillo había sido envenenado junto con su gata. Murieron juntos en el patio de la vecina, mi hijo fue a buscar a Amarillo y lo enterramos en el patio de la casa de mi mamá porque para colmo de males tampoco tengo patio para enterrar los gatos que me envenenan.
