Sometimes, someone can seem very harsh and bitter, but maybe that person was not always like that. Sometimes there is a story behind the way someone behaves that we may not know about.
When I watched Mr. Lecturer, I really felt the movie. It is about a man who is living with so much bitterness and pain that he has almost no peace in his heart. His days are filled with anger, and he talks to people anyhow he wants. He treats people badly and does not care about their feelings. This man is a lecturer, and everyone in the school calls him Mr. Lecturer. Anytime he enters the department, everyone becomes quiet because they see him as a wicked and heartless lecturer who has no patience and does not tolerate nonsense from anyone.
But the interesting part of the movie is that Mr. Lecturer was not always this kind of person. He was once a very good man with a good heart who loved the people around him. He especially loved his wife deeply. His wife was not just his wife to him. She was his best friend, his sister, the woman he loved with all his heart, and the person he shared his life with. They loved each other deeply. But one day, he woke up and discovered that the woman he loved was dead. He cried so much, and that loss completely changed him. It was like the good person he used to be disappeared with his wife, and he became a man full of anger and bitterness.
Anytime Mr. Lecturer wants to go to work, he often looks at his wife's picture and remembers the good times they had together. Sometimes he even talks to her picture as if she is still there listening to him. This part really showed me how much he was still hurting. He hated anything that reminded him of women because losing his wife had left such a deep wound in him. Instead of moving on, he kept holding on to the memories of the woman he loved. His love for his wife was so strong that even after her death, he still found himself communicating with her through her picture.
One day, one of his female students had an issue with his course, so she came to his office because she needed his help. But immediately she entered, Mr. Lecturer started insulting her and telling her to leave. He called her bad names and made her feel uncomfortable. She was shocked and could not understand why this man was behaving so harshly towards her. Looking at him, she could feel that maybe he was not really a bad person, but his actions were making him look like one. Eventually, Mr. Lecturer sent her away from his office.
There was another day when Mr. Lecturer had a misunderstanding with a woman. As usual, he became very angry and started shouting at her because of a small issue. But this woman said something that really touched him. She asked him, "Am I the one who killed your wife?" Those words hit him differently. He suddenly remembered his beloved wife, and you could see the change on his face. It was like the woman had opened a wound he had been trying to hide for a very long time.
After that, the student kept coming to Mr. Lecturer's office whenever she had an issue, and he would still argue with her. But one particular day, something changed between them. They started talking more, and she finally got the courage to ask him a question. She asked him why he was always behaving so harshly. She told him that when she looked into his eyes, she could tell that he was not really a bad person, so she wanted to know why he behaved that way. Mr. Lecturer did not give her a proper answer, but from that moment, they started becoming good friends. She became very close to him, and surprisingly, she was the only woman he could communicate with comfortably. Even Mr. Lecturer did not understand why he felt so different around her.
After some time, Mr. Lecturer started thinking deeply about his wife again. He sat down alone and began crying. His student came into his house and saw him crying badly. She asked him what was wrong, and this was when he finally started telling her everything about his wife. He explained the pain he had been carrying and why he had become the person she knew.
The student tried her best to comfort him and help him. This was when she finally understood that the man everyone saw as wicked was actually a broken man who had never recovered from losing the woman he loved. From that point, their relationship became even stronger. Mr. Lecturer started seeing her differently, with love and care. He told her that he hated every woman after losing his wife, but when he met her, he felt something different. This was how they became very close friends and started bringing some happiness back into his life.
This movie really touched me because I could feel the pain Mr. Lecturer was carrying inside him. At first, I was looking at him as a very harsh and wicked man because of the way he treated everyone, but when I finally understood what happened to him, I started seeing him differently. It made me think about how sometimes we can meet someone who behaves badly and quickly judge the person without knowing what they are going through.
For me, the biggest lesson from this movie is that sometimes a person's behaviour is connected to something they have experienced. Someone can be a very good person, but a painful situation can change that person completely. This does not make every bad action right, but it can help us understand why someone has become the way they are. I really enjoyed this movie because it gave me something to think about, and I am glad I watched it and shared my thoughts with my amazing friends here on Scrobblelife.
