A very warm greeting to the entire Scrobble.life community and to all the friends who read my posts. Today I felt like rewatching an absolute movie classic that I’m sure almost everyone knows: Back to the Future (1985). Even though decades have passed since it first hit the screen, it’s one of those movies that doesn't feel old at all and keeps you entertained no matter how many times you’ve seen it.
What I love most about this story is how well it balances science fiction with lighthearted comedy. The idea of traveling through time in a modified car is cool on its own, but what really holds the movie together is the relationship between an ordinary teenager and a slightly crazy yet warm-hearted inventor. It’s such a natural dynamic that gets you hooked right from the start.
The plot is super engaging: Marty McFly accidentally gets sent thirty years into the past. Upon arriving in the fifties, he accidentally bumps into his parents when they were teenagers and messes up the way they met. From that moment on, he has to do whatever it takes to get them back together, because if he fails, he will literally fade from existence, all while trying to figure out a way back to his own time.
Beyond the funny moments and the iconic soundtrack, the movie makes you wonder what it would be like to see our own parents when they were our age—with their own doubts, fears, and dreams. That blend of nostalgia, adventure, and great performances makes it a true gem to enjoy with family or during a quiet weekend.
How about you? How many times have you watched Back to the Future? What would you do if you could travel through time for a day? Let me know in the comments!

¿Y tú, cuántas veces has visto Volver al Futuro?
