Utgard Castle becomes the scene of a violent siege when a horde of titans, capable of moving in the dark under the command of the Beast Titan, corners a group from the Survey Corps. Without maneuver gear to defend themselves, the rookie recruits are trapped in the tower while the veteran officers—Nanaba, Gelgar, Henning, and Lynne—jump outside to stem the tide of the fierce attack.
Inside the ruins, desperation mounts.
