My Review: When Love Walked Away tells the story of Dagogo, played by Chike Daniels, a married man who is involved with an older wealthy woman, Adana, played by Eucharia Anunobi.
Dagogo doesn't even hide the relationship. He repeatedly brings Adana into the home he shares with his wife, Ego, played by Peggy Ovire, leaving Ego humiliated and emotionally devastated.
But Adana takes things even further.
She makes Ego a shocking offer, she wants to "rent" her own husband from her, even presenting Ego with a contract and money.
As Dagogo continues to manipulate Ego while refusing to take responsibility for his life, Ego's friend, Stella, tries to stand up for her. But Adana proves that she will go to extreme lengths to silence anyone who challenges her.
For a long time, Ego endures the humiliation and betrayal.
Until she finally says ENOUGH!
Ego decides that she has been pushed too far.
She demands that Dagogo take his belongings and leave her home, effectively bringing their marriage to an end.
But when Dagogo eventually realizes what he has lost, he comes back begging for forgiveness and another chance.
