Learning to Read and Write in Your Native Language

Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏 Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂

While observing a small child of about seven to eight months, you must have seen him trying to speak, although he is unable to speak a single word, he just keeps making strange sounds and you must have understood that you too must have struggled so much to speak, but gradually he starts speaking. The child first speaks only those things which his parents speak in a normal home, at that time he does not have any knowledge of the language, where he lives, what language is spoken there, he does not have any knowledge of such things, he just talks about the sounds he hears around him. Then gradually when the child starts speaking and starts reading things, someone teaches him in school, then after that the child starts paying attention to the language and then after some time he starts learning his own language.

You may have noticed that when a child is young, they aren't taught a language; instead, they learn it through the conversations around them. They learn their language through what people say in their family, what people say in their school, and what people say in their neighborhood—all of these things help them learn their language and gain knowledge about it. In our country, India, a person has to learn approximately three types of languages. The first language is their regional language, which they hear in their surrounding localities. Different regions speak different languages, as they vary widely. Those who live in cities need to learn approximately two languages, while those living in rural areas have to learn three. After the regional language comes the main language of your country, Hindi. Hindi is a language we should know from childhood, and everyone learns it in school, because we use Hindi as our common language. When is regional language used? The answer is when we are talking to people of our region and that too those people who prefer to talk in that language. After this comes English language. It is important to learn this language because nowadays it is used everywhere and a person who is unable to learn this language cannot handle many things. Now for example, if someone has to use a mobile phone, he should have knowledge of basic English language only then he will be able to explore things properly. Although nowadays mobile phone options are available in different languages but English language is used. There are many such government documents where only English is used and for this reason a person should also know English language.

Now, if I were to talk about our country's main language, I feel like it would take me years to learn it again, as it's a language that takes a long time to learn. Speaking is easy, but understanding and interpreting its meaning is quite another matter. Sometimes, a word can have a different meaning, so you need to know enough details to achieve perfection in the language. In the beginning, the basic things of Hindi like its script is a little different because it is quite different from other languages, so it may seem a little complicated to you in the beginning, but if you have a good knowledge of its basic things, then you can learn this language later on without any problem, it may take more time.

To learn a language, you don't just have to read it, you have to speak it, apply it in your common spoken language, you have to use that language with the people you are talking to, you have to write it and also understand it, only then you can learn that language, this thing is not so easy. The important thing for learning any language is to practice it continuously. If a person is learning a language from the beginning then he has to practice it regularly only then he can learn the language in a better way. I have seen many people who learn things very well for a few days but then their mind gets diverted and they do not even practice, this is a kind of waste of time. If you want to learn any language then you have to practice it continuously and a lot of hard work is required only then you can learn your language in a perfect manner.
