Magic... and a bit of Patience...

Yes, I believe in magic! Don't you? You will! Ummm, this dates back to 2 years, maybe 3, I don't remember. Suffering frequent memory loss these days. OK, coming back to the topic, I suffered from a toothache like everyone else here. Don't say you haven't felt it yet! :P I visited the first dentist... Even after two-three sessions over a month, there wasn't any improvement. So, I visited another dentist. He started the RCT of one of the damaged tooth, I had two. RCT (Root Canal Therapy) is done when the pulp of a tooth is infected. And when the process was over, which took another one month, the pain was gone. MAGIC? Not yet. The pain was back after some six months. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics and painkillers. They did their work but the pain kept re-occurring every now and then. After suffering for 3-4 months (AND here comes the moment), my father (a physician) suggested trying this which I heard, is an anti-epileptic drug. Yes, you heard me right, a drug for epilepsy to be used to control my toothache. And it worked wonders. It controlled the pain but the pain was back when the effects of medicine were over. After continuous use for about a month, I was fine again. So, I did some researching. Just went googling and found I am suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia... a condition which affects the trigeminal nerve.

It can't be cured and occurs usually when something applies pressure to the nerves. I didn't understand much then what could be that "something" but now I think I do. I am currently on medication again for the last 15 days and my condition is better since yesterday. A bit of patience, you know. So, I thought writing about it. That "something" can be enlarged blood vessels. It's a possibility because I suffer from EDS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

I have many of the symptoms as listed in the picture. And on my recent visit to the hospital, the doctor told me even my internal organs can be enlarged or be stretched at times. So, that's it. I love to travel but I can't go places without help. Skin is soft, tears and bruises easily. Can't walk a lot. So, there isn't much to photograph but I do quite have some. There is another family trip coming up, I will post if my camera catches something. ;) But one thing I can do sitting at home or while at work and that's writing. This is my new-found love in 2017. I did write reviews earlier but writing as a career, it never occurred to me until this year. And here I am in my free times.
