I was having a general stroll around the City Hall area and decided to pass by Capitol Singapore to check out the place. While walking through the outdoor plaza, I noticed they set up a giant screen on the artificial lawn area, probably for sports screening. There were some wooden benches around, looking cozy but quiet since it was in the afternoon.

我在政府大厦（City Hall）附近随便走走，决定顺便去Capitol看看。走过室外广场时，我发现他们的人造草坪区装了一个大屏幕，估计是用来播放体育赛事的。周围放着一些木箱凳子，看起来很温馨，不过因为是下午，所以没什么人。

As I headed down to the basement level of Funan mall, I came across this interesting Hong Kong style cafe called Ke Ming's Award (克茗冰室).

当我走到福南商场地下一层时，偶然发现了一家很有意思的港式茶餐厅，叫做克茗冰室。

They had a big bright sign and a huge standee boasting that their "Char Siew Rice is No. 1 in China". That certainly caught my attention.

他们有一个亮堂的大招牌，还有一个巨型广告牌，自豪地写着“叉烧饭是中国销量第一”。这确实引起了我的注意。

The interior of the cafe had a classic retro Hong Kong vibe. The walls were decorated with nostalgic photos and words like "The Taste of Hongkong" and "Made in Keming".

餐厅内部装潢有着经典的港式复古风。墙上装饰着怀旧照片和一些字样，比如“香港味道”和“克茗制造”。

Since it was already after 2 PM, the place wasn't crowded at all, making it a very relaxed spot for a late lunch.I went ahead and ordered what I came for—the famous char siew rice. It was great that they let me opt for scrambled egg instead of the usual sunny side up. I didn't pick up any extra sauce because I wanted to try the original taste.

因为当时已经下午两点多了，店里一点也不挤，正好可以安安静静地享用一顿迟来的午餐。我立刻点了这次来的目标——他们著名的叉烧饭。挺好的一点是，服务员让我选择滑蛋，而不是通常的太阳蛋。我没有加额外的酱汁，因为想尝尝最原汁原味的味道。

The char siew rice was actually quite good and I was happy enough with the meal, though I'm still not entirely sure if it is really the number one in China.
