Heart Like Rock; Soft On Pillow

Life is filled with people of different capacity of handling emotions and what they pass through. Some are capable of being strong in the face of life challenges, not bowing to being vulnerable and still showing up so strong for others like nothing has ever happened to them to bring down their morale but in their inner chamber, their pillows seems to be their tears absorber every night while some can't even endure to keep away every single fear in their hearts without showing it to people around them.

Not bowing to being vulnerable does not mean that these people are machines with no emotions but because experiences have taught them better that not everyone you're vulnerable to is actually ready to listen, or genuine to not make it a matter of mockery behind you and probably that's what groomed me to be one of those people.

The only difference is that, no matter how strong I may think I am, I have some very few persons I talk to and show my vulnerability to even if they have no solution to provide but I am so damn sure that they want to listen to me and give soothing words that lightens the burden of my heart. Those words matter more than the solution they might be struggling to give, because that's also a solution to make me think straight if at all I'm losing it already. 1001047812.jpg

Based on the prompt, the very one that happened to me and I wished these people could see that I was hurting but still I could not show it because it was the birthday of one of them was the day I lost my mum and couldn't go to the office. While I was wailing and grieving my mum, they kept calling me for this and that since they were unaware of how to sort those things and I kept answering their calls, keeping away my pain so that I don't get to destroy the celebrant's day until our employer called them to inform them.

The reason why I would always advocate to men around me not to stay stiff when they have trusted people around them that they can share the burdens of their hearts with, either there is a solution or not. Sharing it out does a lot and you can be able to think other ways than your ever one-lane.

I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the SciFi Multiverse Prompt

Thanks for reading through 🤗

Yeah, sharing the pain out really does a lot and bring relief to mind but what really matters is what kind of person are we sharing our pain with and what will be the outcome. I believe that's the reason why many people keep their pain to themselves because they don't know who to trust.
