[Movie] My Review on Odyssey

The odyssey is an adventure and action movie that raises tension in you a bit if you're not the type to be quickly triggered.

A movie of a brave king who had to go out to a war to protect his kingdom. The same kingdom that would have wanted him dead just to take his place from him. To determine the fear of the war they were going to fight, he asked his wife to promise him to get married to another man if he does not return on time but what a love to behold when the queen stayed more than 7 years and still yet to see her man the king back at the palace to see his grown up prince.

The Odyssey shows a resilient man who's not ready to bend for any challenges, a king who's ready to be a servant and also has the interest and welfare of his warriors in mind and I think this attribute actually saved him from turning into an animal like the rest of his warriors through the meal they were offered by the witch. If he only he had taken a spoon then they would have all joined the woman's zoo, lol. I was surprised at first from that scene when I saw lion, tigers and all these wild animals just looking at the warriors passing without attacking. I never knew they were humans looking pitifully at the new preys.

The war Odyssey and his men went to fight wasn't even as fearful as their experience going back to their kingdom as they have to face many challenges, fight with demons and conquer all odds to be able to get home. The king was still eager to get home to see his queen and prince but saving his crew men was also his priority as the gods had revealed to him that out of the many men he took to war, no one will follow him back home except him alone. What a life!

He struggled, fought but another scene showed him to be living with another woman in another strange land and he has totally forgotten about home. What about the queen who has been waiting and whom all suitors dine and wine in the palace everyday just to get her attention and become the new king? What about the prince who is curious to see his father enter into the palace through the entrance door and had also set out in search of his father? What about the loyal servants who are been pressurized so they can withdraw their loyalty from the missing and supposed dead king? The whole kingdom and everything he left behind..... Why did he leave them all for a strange woman?

It's a cool movie to watch. Not really a 💯 action movie but it's okay to see. The action scenes were full of life, real and the whole adventure on water was perfectly done as well.

It's a movie I'll recommend to watch if you are always satisfied with any level of action movies but might be a neutral answer if you're the type that loves a full packed action for any action genre movie you want to see and I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the review.

Thanks for reading through 🤗

I didn't know this movie existed—and with those actors, too; it looks really interesting. I can't wait to see it, hehe.

This movie has been highly recommended to me and I'm about to watch it. I saw one years ago and I hope this one is even better because the reviews are good.

I watched this move and not because of the action but because of the performances, I say this is an okay movie. Don't know why but It kept reminding me of an English King who left the crown for a woman😉.

I've seen the trailers for this movie, and it's getting good reviews. I like Roman period dramas, so maybe I'll give it a try, especially since it also has a great cast.
