The Strength I Built in Silence.
**What no one tells you about choosing yourself early. **
I used to believe that when a person chooses themselves at a young age, they don't face as many hardships as they would if that choice came later in life. But as I grew older, and as maturity deepened within me, I realized something far more powerful: if that time hadn't come, I might never have reached where I am today. I wouldn't have chosen myself. I wouldn't have made friends with myself. I wouldn't have valued myself, or built the kind of strength that now carries me. Instead, I would have spent my life leaning on people who were never real to begin with.
When people feel most low, they search for therapy or someone to talk to, someone to help them find answers. And me? I isolate myself from everyone and search for those answers within. It isn't easy. I know exactly how my own silence speaks to me it breaks me, but only when I'm alone with it. And when I finally face that silence head-on, I return to the world stronger than I was before.
The one truth this entire journey has taught me is this: people will make you feel lesser. They won't stay. They'll hand you fake compliments, or instead of building your confidence, they'll try to bring you down. But what they will never tell you is how to actually rise the right way. So instead of discussing your struggles with others, sit with yourself and let that become the reason you finally reach your destination.
I know those moments, those long nights, those difficult days, and the strength I carry until today , I didn't build it because of people. I built it because I once expected support from my own blood, and when no one showed up the way I had hoped, I stopped placing my expectations on people at a young age. And now, that very same strength , I give back to the world through my words, my writing, my actions, and my efforts.
I'm not sharing this to seek sympathy or attention or something like that !! I'm sharing it because someone out there needs to hear it. If you're going through a phase where no one understands you, where you feel alone in your struggles, know this: that silence isn't your enemy. It's where your strength is quietly being built. Don't wait for people to validate your pain or celebrate your growth. Choose yourself today, however young or however late it may seem. Sit with your own thoughts, face your own silence, and let it shape you into someone unshakeable. Like #INSANE ❤️🔥
If even one person reads this and decides to stop waiting for others and start building themselves instead then these words have done exactly what they were meant to do.
