Honestly the travel ban FROM Europe makes even less sense when you realize that if anything it should be the other way around. Europe is pretty much guaranteed to deal with the virus better for many reasons, from simple logistics to its countries actually having healthcare systems as opposed to whetever the hell the US has, and might actually successfully contain it before it gets crazy. The US on the other hand... people travelling from it will be a potential vector for spreading it for a long while to come.
