Today is Friday 28 August 2026. We are in the word number 508.

This Everyday Word in Spanish is not only useful for Spanish learners, but it's also helpful for English learners as a foreign language.

Here we are with another word in Spanish. Now we have the word Christmas. So, today let's see the word 'Christmas'. Do you know how we say 'Christmas' in Spanish?

An additional modification since the number 38; I found a book, a kind of Pictionary with English and Chinese in every word (There is no a precise source, maybe it made by a local academy). Then I will follow it and add the Spanish corresponding word. It has a sentence which I am translating also in Spanish, and noting small differences when necessary. Then it has a version in English, Chinese and Spanish. After this pictionary I will put the usual description of the word. As I have mentioned, the pictionary I am following is printed in Hong Kong.     Navidad está muy bien resuelta aquí porque no te quedas solo con la traducción directa, sino que la vuelves trilingüe, visual y contextual. La parte de “Christmas / 聖誕節 / Navidad” con la frase “Ellos esperan con ansias la llegada de esta Navidad” le da un uso práctico, no solo diccionario.

    También suma bastante la segunda imagen con el nacimiento de Jesucristo, porque aterriza el sentido cultural y religioso de la palabra dentro del mundo hispano. Eso hace que el post funcione tanto para quien estudia vocabulario como para quien quiere entender qué representa la palabra, no solo cómo se traduce.

    Lo más fuerte de tu serie sigue siendo esa mezcla de aprendizaje diario + comparación entre idiomas + apoyo visual. Se siente útil, ordenado y fácil de seguir.
