#1238 - Strawberry Farm Shots for Monday.
Good day fellow dearest Hiveans around the world! Let us shake off the weekend laziness. Grab your favorite morning drink, take a deep breath and step into the day. I hope your day is smooth. Let us support each other and make this a very great Hiveans week. Wishing everyone a safe, happy and very productive Monday😘.
Now for our daily shots one noon at the Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet which was truly unforgettable. After a long winding drive up the mountains, we arrived and the cool breeze was worth every minute of that exhausting trip.
My wife and son Joaquin were with me and Joaquin's face light up when he saw the wide fields of strawberries. My brother in law and his family were here too along with some relatives vacationing. Such a big group and having everyone here made the experience feel even more special.
We walked into the farm while the sun was not beating down on us heavy at all. There were these soft clouds hovering above which kinda shielding us from the heat. You know how noon time usually feels hot. I remember thinking how perfect the weather timing was because if the sun had been blazing, picking ripe strawberries would have been way less fun especially with the kids.
So we went exploring the farm, walking along the rows and rows of strawberry plants. The kids were excited and pointing at the bright red berries they spotted. Joaquin was also thrilled because he never picked strawberries straight from the plant before. He would crouch down inspect the berry and then pick it with pride. The strawberries were so fresh and ripe and it's nothing like the ones we usually buy from the supermarket back home.
My brother in law and his family were also busy picking, they're all comparing who found the biggest or reddest strawberry. Even the older relatives seemed to really enjoy it. It was a great activity for all of us, especially after sitting in a car for so long during our drive. It felt good to stretch our legs and just be out here in nature together picking and doing some free taste😉.
After we had our fill of strawberries and took plenty of photos, we went back to our vehicles with baskets full and hearts happy. We were all looking forward to getting some rest at the Airbnb we had booked for the night. This strawberry farm visit was a perfect stop after a long drive, a sweet memory we still talk about as a family.
