Somewhere Beautiful | colored pencil drawing

I know I said I wanted to catch up on sharing all the drawings I've made over the past couple of months but I actually want to share my latest one today! Just finished it yesterday! We're not working chronologically here ^^

This one only took a few days, I painted a lot lately. I'm loving to draw so much at the moment, I could do it for hours! I'm having a bit of a challenging time, falling in and out of being very depressed, but drawing calms my nerves and keeps my scared mind distracted from dark thoughts and focused on something beautiful for a while.

I don't have any process pictures, but I took this one right after I put my signature, so you can kind of see my "workspace" here in the van.

Dearest @anafae - your work is as ever so very beauty-full... thank you for sharing this 💝🌺🪷 These are SUCH SUPER-intense times, and I too have been feeling waves of a kind of heaviness that might be called depression; working on the land helps a lot, and putting things in order in our funny wee shed-house 😋🥳🤗🥰 But I'm sensing too that a lot of this stuff is older, more primal tension/ locked-in karma/ familial weight - and am releasing it through breath, emotional outpourings and creative work.

I here for you if you ever need to reach out and share 🙏🪷🍀🌹 We have such power between us, all of us womb-ones, to transform what is bubbling up right now 🌱🌳
