Utah Goldbacks 😍
What's up all you Silver Gold Stackers? A ton of stuff has been happing in the last few weeks with Steem vs Hive so I decided to lay low while the dust cleared.
While everything was going on, I received my first shipment of Utah Goldbacks and I cannot say enough about them. If you are not familiar with this product go ahead and check out their website 👉 Goldback.com
Basically these guys have figured out how to get a small amount of 24k gold into what they call a Goldback, and when I say small, I mean small. Their 1 Goldback, smallest one produced, contains 1/1000th of a Troy OZ of gold and the largest is their 50 Goldback which is 1/20th of a Troy OZ of gold
The Goldback solves a 2,600 year old problem in that gold can be spent in small, interchangeable increments.

Talking to the guys over at UPMA Utah is not the only state to pursue the Goldback idea. While he wasn't at liberty to tell me what other states were looking into it he did give me the contact info for the person I could call to see what it takes to get one started for my state.
While the first Goldback currency was produced for Utah there may eventually be local Goldback currencies all over the world. In order to achieve a world full of people using sound money locally we are putting together a program in which individuals may ‘kickstart’ a Goldback project where they live. There are several Goldback currencies under production for 2020 using this model. We will be looking for additional projects to do once the current set of Goldbacks under production are completed.
