Hello everyone... welcome to my blog.
We’ve just wrapped up another month; September is gone—the first of the four "ber" months, as many call them. That brings us much closer to my absolute favorite month: December. My princess had her birthday at the end of August, but as happens every year, the celebration extended into the first week of September.
This month was quite hectic from start to finish; right at the beginning, I took on a one-month contract helping a group of university students with their research projects for an intensive Civil Engineering course.
That work opportunity was wonderful—it actually ended yesterday—and the door remains open for future projects once their semester begins.
With that income, I’ve been able to get my digital tools up and running again and plan ahead for this venture. Between work and my training—which I’ve been more disciplined about than ever—the days felt very short; sometimes I couldn't juggle the schedules for everything, not to mention that the power outages didn't help matters.
Even so, I managed to get everything done—perhaps with a bit more effort and fatigue, but it was possible. Some rescued kittens from my local area were spayed or neutered; this makes me very happy, as it is always rewarding to know there is one less little angel wandering the streets alone—and better yet, that they won't be leaving more abandoned little angels behind.
My food business is on hold for a while—I think until the Christmas pre-sales. But I’m still creating and enjoying good food with friends who love cooking just as much as I do. And coffee, as always, remains the companion to all my adventures.
And then there’s photography—my most relaxing hobby. Especially when it involves being close to nature, where I can enjoy landscapes, plants and flowers, local wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, as well as the activities and places that make up my everyday life.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this look back at my September... have a wonderful weekend, everyone.
