SUNDAY WALK STARTS
If you want to see the beauty of Quetta city then you should explore Gulistan Town. Stay with me in this content because I am going to explore everything for you step by step. The beauty here parks, stadiums, Sabutayi Restaurant and the culture here... I will present everything for you. Stay connected with me and also enjoy all of my photography.
For me the best day of the whole week is Sunday because it is a day for resting. There is a holiday from offices and it is a great day for going out, spending time with family, walking and doing many other things.
This Sunday I was quite busy. I was very engaged since morning and recently after being sick for two days, my health has now started getting a little better. So I wanted to make sure that this Sunday I go towards Gulistan Town which is a national area, a cultural and traditional area and refresh myself a little so that my health and mood can become even better.
So on Sunday I decided to walk on the Gulistan Town route with my maternal uncle. It is about fifteen minutes away from my home and is connected with some of the most beautiful views of Quetta city.
It was around 5:30 when we left home and went out to walk on this route track.
While walking I saw a beautiful scene where a beautiful piece of cloud was visible behind the mountain. And if you look carefully you can see two trees that made this scene even more beautiful.
Actually the combination of the clouds, sky, mountain and trees is extremely beautiful.
As we continued moving forward we saw some people flying kites while some others were preparing to fly their kites.
Actually in Quetta city the winter season is considered the season for kite flying. People choose large open and empty places so that they can fly kites properly, compete with each other and fully enjoy this culture.
And you can see my selfie picture. This is the same route that connects us to Ali Zaheer Park and Majesty Road where there are big stadiums on both sides.
This route is approximately half an hour long and continues along the same street road. Right in front of it you can see a very large mountain which we call Boko.
This is the highest peak of the first mountain and after that there are many more peaks. At the last peak you can see Char Shakh.
BEAUTIFUL HOMES, GREEN STREETS AND EVERYDAY LIFE
While passing through this beautiful park you will get to see many things. Here you will also see some beautiful buildings that belong to the rich people of Gulistan Town. Most of the wealthy people live in this neighborhood.
Their buildings are very beautiful and even more than that you will see greenery and trees on both sides of every road. One of the best habits of these people is that they make special arrangements for plantation outside their homes.
There is only one main gate to enter Gulistan Town where bikes and cars are allowed to enter. There is also special security arranged by the people of this neighborhood. Permission is given to pass through from only one route.
But as soon as you come around this road there are six to seven roads connected to it. You can see that people start coming from every road, especially on Sundays.
This is because there is not only beauty here but there are also two parks, stadiums, and most importantly, restaurants which are a great attraction for people.
Many people who travel from far away come through these roads and connect to this main road.
While I was passing through the road I saw a very large flock of birds in the sky that was migrating. I tried to capture it properly in a picture.
Then at the beginning of the park you can see a beautiful hut made of cement where people had come for a picnic. Some were resting while others were busy walking.
I really liked the picture of this child that I took because he was very innocent and was standing very politely. So first I showed him some affection and then took his picture.
And as usual there are also stray dogs on this road. They do not disturb the people and the people also do not disturb them. This is a normal situation in this environment.
THE BEAUTIFUL ROUTE FROM ALI ZAHEER PARK TO SABUTAYI
The road that passes at the end of Gulistan Town is very interesting and its special thing is that on both sides of this road you will see two big stadiums. One is called Qayyum Papa Football Stadium and the other is a big cricket ground where local people come and play.
Especially many tournaments are organized here where different teams participate and show their performance on this ground.
Apart from this there are many other people walking and spending time here. You can see in the pictures that children are sitting on the roads and playing Pokémon cards.
As soon as I came near these children they did not notice me in the first picture. But as soon as one of them saw me they became shy and picked up all the Pokémon cards and started looking in the other direction.
Similarly while passing by you can see four young players who were tired after playing and some of them were resting. There are also some spectators who come here every evening, especially on Sunday when there is more rush and crowd.
Therefore this road is very beautiful. It is only about a five minute long road but because there is so much walking, rush and crowd here, it creates a beautiful and wonderful environment.
And before this Majesty road, you can also see Ali Zaheer Park. It is not a very developed park but yes it is a good place for entertainment for children.
It would be better if the soil on the ground of this park were changed into grass so that people do not become sick because of the pollution.

MILK TEA MAKES THE PERFECT EVENING (AT SABUTAYI RESTAURANT)
The night view at Sabutai Restaurant is somewhat different and this place where we are sitting is very lively especially these days when the autumn season has started and the weather is very enjoyable.
So what people do is, as soon as the darkness of night starts to spread they begin coming here. And these days because it is a full moon the darkness of the night becomes much less because of the full moon and when its light falls on the mountain it creates a very beautiful and pleasant environment.
As I tried when it became nighttime I took some pictures. Here you can see a beautiful view of a mountain in front of you. On both sides you can see trees and we are sitting in the middle around chairs and tables enjoying tea and different snacks.
The nighttime atmosphere is very beautiful and as soon as it becomes a little dark the restaurant people turn on their floodlights so that their visitors or customers can enjoy this wonderful environment even more.
Apart from this because we had been sitting here since around 6 o’clock, there was still quite a lot of light at that time and the evening was at its peak. This was also our best time to drink tea and eat tikki.
After a long break we had reached here, first my two maternal uncles were with me. We ordered tea and while we were there, three more of my friends came. So we expanded the tea order even more.
We ordered six cups of doodh patti tea and four special tikkis which we enjoyed with tea and tikki.
During this time we had a very good conversation with each other, enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed this wonderful weather. Especially when it is Sunday and you have evening tea with doodh patti, it creates a very beautiful scene.
Note: One of my friends smokes cigarettes and I thought it looked quite good for a photograph. I told him “You smoke a cigarette and I will take your picture.”
However I will not show your face in the picture. I only want to show the smoking and its smoke.
Remember that smoking is harmful to your health so please avoid smoking.
SHOPPING FOR A NEW DRESS
And what happened was when I came back home my wife had a request that she wanted to buy some good clothes for her daughter for a function. Also the nikah of my maternal uncle’s daughter is in the next few days so she wanted to wear a new dress.
For this she ordered me that we should go to a garment shop and look for a good dress for the girl.
Because at home my wife’s word is the final word and listening to her is very important so I immediately agreed and said, “Let’s go.” 😁🤣
About ten minutes away from our place there are two very famous garment shops here one is Kashan Garments and the other is Fashion Zone Garments. They regularly have very stylish and new branded dresses and often the good thing is that they also have 50% off sales.
After going there first we went to Kashan Garments. We looked at some dresses and spent about fifteen to twenty minutes there but my wife did not particularly like any dress. So she told me that now we should go to Fashion Zone which is the other special garment shop.
We went there and explored many dresses. During this time I also took pictures of many dress items in the garment shop. The benefit of taking these pictures was that if we remained confused in the shop then after reaching home we could look at these pictures again and make a good selection.
There was also a lot of variety and quality at Fashion Zone. There were many dresses which made us quite confused. Finally we liked a beautiful pink colored designer dress which also had a 50% discount.
So we thought this was a great opportunity. Both my wife and I liked the dress and we selected it.
It cost us approximately 4200 rupees which is around 20 to 25 dollars.
So we finalized it and after making the payment we returned home.
This was the activity of my whole day. It was quite a heavy workload but after a busy time passes, everything becomes normal and it feels quite satisfying.
