My Actifit Report Card: September 1 2026

First day of September, and we’re back at work. No fieldwork though because of the flood. For the third time this year, the city was flooded again, brought by the Monsoon rains. We cleaned up some things and prepared for the worst.

After work, I went home, gathered the clothes I washed the other day and folded them.

Flooding of any place is hard. I know as my town has experienced what they term as 100 year floods 3 times in the past 5 years. By 100 year floods, they mean a flood that will happen once every 100 years. I am planning for this year's flood as nothing has changed with the river here. It will happen again and probably this year, unfortunately.

I hope that no lives are lost in your flood and that damage to property is minimal.

Nice job with your 8285 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!
