A few days ago, I had the opportunity to participate in a workshop at La Tejesión to learn how to knit a beautiful garment, and I have to say I really enjoyed the experience. It was one of those afternoons that fly by because you’re doing something you love, spending time with other knitters, chatting, learning, and, of course, knitting! 🧶
I love discovering that, even after so many years surrounded by yarn and needles, there’s always something new to learn. During the workshop, I picked up some tips, little details, and techniques that greatly enriched my knitting style. And that’s precisely what’s so wonderful about these gatherings—because everyone contributes a little bit of their own experience.💙
Little by little, amid stitches, colors, and conversations, I watched that idea take shape into a garment. And when I finally held the finished cardigan in my hands, I felt a great sense of satisfaction.
Hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de participar en un taller de La Tejesión para aprender a tejer una hermosa pieza de vestir y debo decir que disfruté muchísimo la experiencia. Fue una de esas tardes que pasan rápido porque estás haciendo algo que te gusta, compartiendo con otras tejedoras, conversando, aprendiendo y, por supuesto, ¡tejiendo! 🧶
Me encanta descubrir que, incluso después de tantos años entre hilos y agujas, siempre hay algo nuevo por aprender. Durante el taller pude conocer algunos tips, pequeños detalles y formas de trabajar que enriquecieron muchísimo mi manera de tejer. Y eso es precisamente lo bonito de estos encuentros porque cada persona aporta un poquito de su experiencia.💙
Poco a poco, entre puntos, colores y conversaciones, fui viendo cómo aquella idea se convertía en una prenda. Y cuando finalmente tuve el cárdigan terminado entre mis manos, sentí una gran satisfacción .
What’s more, this cardigan serves a very special purpose: it’s part of my collection of handmade women’s fashion, a line I’m creating with great care for my customers. I want to offer them unique pieces, made with dedication and designed for those who also enjoy wearing something different, beautiful, and special.
And as you can see, the result is absolutely gorgeous! 💙🩷🤍
But there was one opinion that made me especially happy: my daughter’s—who is also one of my first customers. She loved the cardigan, and seeing her wear it confirmed to me that this new path in handmade women’s fashion has a lot to offer.
Además, este cárdigan tiene un propósito muy especial: se suma a mi catálogo de moda femenina hecha a mano, una propuesta que estoy construyendo con mucho cariño para mis clientas. Quiero ofrecerles prendas únicas, hechas con dedicación y pensadas para quienes también disfrutan llevar algo diferente, bonito y especial.
Y ya ven el resultado es ¡maravillosamente hermoso! 💙🩷🤍
Pero hubo una opinión que me hizo especialmente feliz: la de mi hija, que además es una de mis primeras clientas. A ella le encantó el cárdigan y verla usarlo me confirmó que este nuevo camino dentro de la moda femenina hecha a mano tiene mucho por ofrecer.
