I only went to the mall to buy food for my dog and cat. That was my only plan. Buy their food then go home. Nothing else.
But when I checked the time, it was almost 1 pm. No wonder I was feeling so hungry and dizzy. I did not notice how long I had been walking around.
Then I looked around and I saw Kenny Rogers. I told myself, it has been so long since I last ate here. The last time was probably when I was still young. So I said, why not try it again.
I ordered roasted chicken. It came with rice, vegetables, a corn muffin, and gravy. When the plate arrived, the smell alone made it feel delicious already. And it was true, their chicken is so good. It was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. I poured the gravy on my rice, and I finished it right away.
Sometimes, the things you do not plan turn out to be the best. I am glad I passed by. After eating, I bought food for them and I went home full and happy.
