Indian movie are one of my best movies to watch as someone who loves the action and unrealistic movie magic that that they do , it's really interesting and their dancing videos too is really amazing. Well let's get right into the movie.
The movie is directed by S.S Rajamouli , in the beginning of the movie we see a dramatic scene where a woman desperately tries to save her child as she is pursued by soldiers. She eventually sacrifices herself in place of her child . This child grows up to be shivudu , a very strong man who played the role Prabhas. He always felt connected to the water fall in his village.
His life takes a whole different turn after he encounters a warrior woman Avantika who is fighting against the cruel ruler of Mahishmati . He falls inlove with her discovering that he is connected to the royal family . This plot twist brings up about royalty, betrayal, revenge and the struggle for justice.
The movie has a very visual presentation. The actions and visual presentation. The movie made a massive impact with the exaggerated costumes, the wide set, impressive battle scenes and the visual effect. The Kingdom of. Mahishmati feels royal and mythical. The scenery of the waterfall palace, battlefield gave the movie a very epic atmosphere.
In the movie we see amazing scenes of battles involving hundreds and thousands of soilders. There were also sophisticated weapons, animals ,horses and elaborate military war. Mind you some scenes are intentionally longer to pass a deeper information. It's more of ancient legends and myths, which enhances the performance of Baahubali.
Baahubali gives the movie a very emotional sense of adventure and innocence at the same time showing off his strength and determination. Rana Daggubati and Bhalladaeva pose a strong contrast in the movie. Showing character and physical powerful, ambitious and ruthless.
Let's talk about Sivagami delivered a beautiful performance. Her character is very powerful and strong. She stands as a mother figure and plays an important role in the political affairs of the Kingdom. Sathyaraj also plays an important role in his loyalty to the royal family.
The music in the movie is composed by M.M. keeravani ,it created the emotional part of the story. It helps establish the feeling of a legendary story ,with romantic and dramatic scene more powerful. One thing I really enjoyed is that the movie slowly revealed the story line gradually, there by keeping the audience hooked all through the movie.
There are also some weakness in the movie too, the visual effect, the imagery wasn't really the best compared to what we have now. There were so many unrealistic exaggerated scenes, that can be possible in real life situations . While this is mostly why people love Indian movies.
If you love adventurous, action and fantasy stories with strong emotions and powerful music performance. Then this movie is for you. I rate it 80/100.
