I eventually stopped watching the videos over the years, then randomly saw that he made a movie for the character, Tijuana Jackson, and knew I had to check it out.
The movie follows Tijuana Jackson’s release from prison and him following his dreams to be a motivational speaker and a life coach. He’s followed by a group of collage students of journalism who are simply completing a class assignment but end up getting a lot more out of the experience than a grade.
Throughout the film Tijuana Jackson shows grit in chasing his dreams while facing one adversity after another throughout the movie. He’s has to repair the relationship with his family, gain the trust of the community, find work and promote his value, and adjust to life outside of prison.
Due to the environment he’s coming out of, although genuine in his intentions to help other’s, Tijuana Jackson finds himself in lots of funny situations that he handles in funny way's as he strives to prove himself to the people around him.
Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Prison is a hilarious movie and inspirational in it’s own way. The challenges the characters face throughout the film are relatable and leave me with some really good feels by the end of the film. I enjoyed the movie so much that I checked out the YouTube channel and saw that he’s still making content for the character Tijuana Jackson all these years later.
With all that being said, I enjoyed everything about the movie. I rate Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Prison
