For two weeks every price on the board stood still. Gameweek 1 ended last night. This morning, 600+ Premier League players repriced at once — and the board finally shows who can read football and who was guessing. I think we can all agree it was a proper weird start to the Premiership season. United getting taught a lesson by Hull. Harry McGuire holding back his own player for Hulls second goal. Spurs after "winning" the transfer market reverted to type after 12 minutes. Villa fielding only 3 players who won the Europa League. Ollie Watkins refusing to play allegedly leaving Villa light up top. Liverpool scraping a draw against a bad Newcastle team and City bearly getting over the line against Bournemouth. It was business as usual at Arsenal so the league is over. Sunderland get smashed by Ipswich. Sangare is Maradona and all eyes are on Hinshelwood and Vuskovic as Brighton were peak Barcelona in their prime. Do I have everyone? So with the Football Exchange we have to wait for the Premiership Fantasy League to reset their Gameweek which is normally at midnight of the night the Gameweek is over. So for here on it the Football Exchange will be reset the following morning at 9.30am (GMT for @nathan007). Gameweek's 1 prices are up so trading players is back open for everyone. Also feel free to join whatever week you wish. By the looks of the leaderboard it could be best to stay out and test the water.

The risers 📈
Cole Palmer tore Fulham apart on Monday night and the market paid him for it: 50 → 66. Gakpo jumped 40 → 56. And Brighton's Jack Hinshelwood put up such a freak score that he smashed into the market's movement cap — 40 → 60, the maximum move the exchange allows in a single week. No player doubles overnight here. Almost.
The fallers 📉
Haaland: 80 → 68. Two quiet points on opening weekend and the most expensive player on the board bled twelve. B.Fernandes slid 70 → 60. The market has no respect for reputations — only for last week.
And the leaderboard tells the real story
The first leader of the season is running a bargain-bin squad — six players bought at 21 MEDALS each, four of them repriced upwards. Moneyball, week one. And the same guy is winning the @hivefpl league so no surprises who it is . @blockchainfpl . Congratulations on being top of the leaderboard this week. And seeing it is the first week, we are going to award you 500 MEDALs as a token gesture to the person who played the game the best. In fact there are only three Hive users that made a profit last week.

Meanwhile some of the big-name squads including myself stuffed with premium players are deep in the red. Go look — tap any trader on the TOP TRADERS board and their full squad opens. Scout the leader. Steal a read. Or back your own.
How it works, one more time
Prices only move when the round ends — never during matches, so nobody trades on a goal you haven't seen. A player who didn't feature isn't punished; his price simply holds. And every price move is built from real FPL points, capped at ±50% a week.
Buy before the rise. Sell before the fall. The trader with the most profit when the season ends takes 500 HIVE + 10,000 MEDALS.
Gameweek 2 is open now. The prices you see today are the prices until the next deadline — then it all moves again. Anyone is free to join whenever they want. Just buy around 500 medals to tied you over for players and you are sorted. Thanks to everyone who has joined up as we are trying to get Sportsblock off the ground without any handouts. We appreciate everyone who enters.
