I woke up before dawn for no particular reason and walked to the harbor. And again, it was for no particular reason. I didn't even feel like walking would be nice, fun, or good for me. I just started walking; as far as I can remember, it was just like that. Maybe I got possessed by some floating spirit that felt the urge to walk as living people or the living dead do. Who knows? I most certainly don't.
Anyway, the scenery looked great in the low light, so I took some photographs along the way.
I took exactly fourteen shots with my camera, and I'll show you all of them in this post.
The place shown in these pictures is called Vizula.
It is a small peninsula near the harbor of Medulin. Medulin is my hometown.
Vizula isn't far from my house. I mean, it isn't too far. Only a litlle more than a kilometer, approximately. A litlle more than a kilometer and a litlle less than half a kilometer. Could it be seven hundred meters? Yeah, sure, it could, but I don't know if it is. Anyway, you see, the place isn't very far from where I live.
I had a tripod with me, and, believe it or not, I used it to get these pictures.
The exposures were fairly long. In the following photograph...
...you can see what happens when you apply that method to things that slowly move on the surface of the water.
I love the morning air. I also love how Vizula sounds so early in the day. The birds are very active. Their communication sounds like a concert.
It's a nice, quiet place that can clear your mind sometimes. If you don't mind your mind being cleared. Maybe you are one of those who love their mind congested and cluttered.
There are all kinds of minds out there. Some have a body; others are free. Some are parasites that can possess you. Be careful. I think it is better to have a tin foil hat on your head and look ridiculous than to take risks. That's my opinion. I mean, that's only one of my opinions; I have quite a few of them, and no, I won't change them, thanks for asking.
After Vizula, I walked to the pond situated much closer to my house, only about two hundred meters approximately.
It was raining heavily the day before, so the pond was a bit larger than usual.
About an hour later, I drove to the area near the town of Rovinj, about fifty kilometers from Medulin, and took this last shot there.
And that's it. The post ends here. As always on Hive, the photographs are my work.
