Greetings, citizens of Praetoria! As we do every week, we are sharing our progress along the long and thorny "Golden Path." In my previous report, I was weighing my options for my resource plots: whether to buy another plot or look into renting or purchasing extra workers. Ultimately, I decided to buy Verico workers. But before diving into those details, let's take a look at how resource prices in Lands have been trending.

Que tal ciudadanos de Praetoria, hoy como cada semana publicamos nuestros pasos en ese largo y espinoso camino que es la senda dorada. En mi reporte anterior estaba pensando que hacer con mis parcelas de recursos: si comprar una parcela más o pensar en alquilar/comprar trabajadores extra, al final terminé optando por comprar trabajadores Verico. Pero antes de entrar en esos detalles veamos como se ha comportado el precio de los recursos en Lands.

One thing I’ve noticed—though I hadn't gone into detail about it in previous reports—is a slow but steady rise in resource prices. In my case, dealing with stone, the difference is now becoming quite noticeable; the long bear market seems to be over. This shift is coinciding with the reorganization of the ranked league system and the upcoming announcement regarding the next phase of Lands: new buildings.

Una de las cosas que he notado pero de la que no entraba en detalles en mis reportes anteriores es que se ha registrado un incremento lento pero constante del precio de los recursos, en mi caso que es la piedra el diferencia ahora es que comienza a notarse, el largo bearmarket parece haber terminado y esto sucede al mismo tiempo en el que llega una reorganización del sistema de ligas en ranked y el futuro anuncio de la siguiente etapa de Lands que serían nuevos edificios.

Interestingly, DEC has followed a very similar trend. Its price has been rising over the last two and a half months—to the point where, as I write this, it has hit $0.70 per 1,000 DEC, bringing it close to the $1.00 peg per 1,000 DEC. Against this backdrop, trading resources that have been harvested and stockpiled over the months is becoming a promising market opportunity for everyone who invested in plots and workers during this period.

Lo interesante de todo esto es que al mismo tiempo, el DEC ha tenido un comportamiento bastante similar, su precio viene incrementando en estos últimos 2 meses y medio, al punto que hoy, cuando les escribo estas líneas el precio tocó los 0,7$ por cada 1000 DEC, es decir ya esta cerca del PEG de 1$ por cada 1K en DEC. En este contexto el comercio de recursos cosechados y mantenidos a lo margo de meses, se convierte en un potencial mercado para todos aquellos que han invertido en parcelas y trabajadores a lo largo de todos estos meses.

This has motivated me to revisit the need to fully staff my resource plots with my own workers and reduce my reliance on rentals. If the current DEC trend continues, renting workers for an entire season will become extremely expensive. That is why I am considering Verico workers; they possess abilities that lower both resource-gathering costs and maintenance expenses. Unfortunately, two things are happening with these cards: there aren't many on the market, and they are starting to get more expensive as the weeks go by. They started out at $0.11, and today they cost twice that much.

Este hecho me ha motivado a retomar nuevamente la necesidad de completar mis parcelas de recursos con trabajadores propios y reducir la dependencia de alquileres pues de mantenerse la tendencia del DEC, alquilar trabajadores por una temporada completa va a ser algo extremadamente caro. Esto me ha hecho considerar los trabajadores Verico, pues tienen habilidades que reducen los costos al recoger los recursos y también de los costes de mantenimiento. Lamentablemente pasan 2 cosas con estas cartas, no hay muchas en el mercado y se están comenzando a encarecer con el paso de las semanas. Empezaron a valer 0,11$ y ya hoy cuestan el doble.

I decided to start buying and upgrading one specific card from the Verico set: the Ollistock Bull. I’m interested in this card because it shares the same lineage as my Electrofox, and its element is Fire—which is highly effective for quarries located in desert and canyon biomes. Owning a card like this would be useful for stone plots or even farms that benefit from the Life element.

Decidí entonces comenzar a comprar y upgradear una carta en particular del set Verico: Ollistock Bull esta carta me interesa por su linaje que es el mismo de mi Electrofox y uso de sus elementos es fuego que es casi el elemento que favorece las canteras ubicadas en biomas de desiertos y cañón. Tener entonces una carta como esta me serviría para parcelas de piedras o incluso granjas favorecidas por el elemento vida.

Ideally, the goal is to level this card up to Level 7 to unlock the ability that reduces the Crystal (DEC) cost required to put the card to work, in addition to the resource production bonus gained by sharing the same lineage with other workers on the plot.

El objetivo sería en el mejor de los casos llevar esta carta a nivel 7 y obtener la habilidad que nos ofrece un descuentos de las necesidades de crystal Dec necesario para poner a trabajar esta carta sumado a la bonificación de la producción de recursos por compartir el linaje con otros trabajadores en esa parcela.

Let’s start with our grain farms, specifically the one in Bredaine; we still have three empty slots there that need to be filled. One of them will likely be the card we recently purchased, though not until it reaches Level 7. We’ll fill the remaining slots with cards I already own, as renting workers could become unfeasible if the price of DEC eventually reaches parity with PEG. Overall, we aren't harvesting enough grain; the main obstacle is that putting those new workers to work requires locking up at least 20,000 DEC, so it is an investment that requires careful planning.

Comencemos por nuestras granjas de grano, sobre todo en la que tenemos en Bredaine, aquí seguimos con 3 slots vacíos que tienen que ser llenados. Uno de ellos seguro será la carta que recientemente compramos pero cuando la tengamos en nivel 7. El resto lo vamos a llenar con cartas propias que tengo, ya que alquilar trabajadores puede volverse inviable si al final DEC alcanza el PEG. En general no cosechamos suficiente grano aquí el principal obstáculo es que para poner a trabajar esos trabajadores nuevos tendré que bloquear al menos 20K en DEC por lo que es una inversión que debo planificar.

Our other grain farm is in Hamford; it was the first one I bought in Great Lowlands. That’s why I have all five workers stationed there, along with one of the few Common totems I managed to buy for under $11 back when the price was lower. This plot produces all the grain needed to feed the workers at the three stone quarries I currently own.

Nuestra otra granja de granos está en Hamford y fue oficialmente la primera que compré en Great Lowlands, por eso tengo los 5 trabajadores aquí junto a uno de los pocos totems comunes que logré comprar a precios por debajo de los 11$ en su momento. Es en esta parcela donde sale todo el grano, para alimentar los trabajadores que tengo en las 3 canteras de piedra que hasta ahora poseo.

We move on to our next three plots—essentially stone-producing quarries: a common one in Oxborough where I have high-end hired workers; one in Bredaine where I hold a rare plot; and finally, another plot in Oxborough—with the distinction that it is our only epic plot, featuring an epic title and five maxed-out golden epic workers from the Chaos Legion set.

Continuamos con nuestras 3 próximas parcelas, que en esencia son canteras que generan piedra, una común en Oxborough donde tengo trabajadores alquilados de alta gama, en Bredaine donde tengo una parcela rara y finalmente otra parcela en Oxborough, con la diferencia de que es nuestra única parcela épica con título épico y 5 trabajadores épicos dorados al máximo sel set Chaos Legion.

The plot market currently offers some great deals; in fact, there are numerous stone-producing plots in the Great Lowlands, particularly in Bredaine. I had planned to expand my holdings in Oxborough, but with very few listings available, Bredaine is shaping up to be a very tempting option.

El mercado de parcelas tiene muy buenas ofertas actualmente, y de hecho en Great Lowlands hay numerosas parcelas que producen piedra particularmente en Bredaine. Tenía planes de expandir mis dominios en Oxborough pero hay muy pocas ofertas, por lo que Bredaine se muestra como una opción bastante tentativa.

Compared to our last report—when we were at 730,000 stone units—we have already comfortably surpassed the 800,000 mark during this first week of October, thanks to the Black Foil card we rented last season. I believe that, with a bit of luck, we might even break the one-million mark before November arrives.

Comparando con nuestro último reporte, donde estábamos en 730K en unidades de piedra, esta primera semana de Octubre con la reciente carta de lámina negra que alquilamos la temporada pasada, ya logramos superar ampliamente los 800K de piedra y creo que con suerte podremos superar el millón antes de llegar a Noviembre.

We might upgrade our Verico card to level 4 or 5 next week; it all depends on whether the price holds steady and there is sufficient supply. Posiblemente la próxima semana llevemos nuestra carta Verico a nivel 4 o 5 todo dependerá si el precio de estas cartas se mantiene y hay la suficiente oferta de ellas.
