Hey there again spinter-fwens and HIVEees! We are almost half past of the month of October and that really shows how fast life past by. Living in a fast phase time is sure is tiring sometimes. Slacking off is becoming luxury these days. This guild brawl was another one that happened awhile back. Getting busy with other things in real life is consuming most of time so I have to postpone this blogging stuff and do it on my free time. Good thing that you can save draft here on peakD/HIVE.
Got a bit low on making good result on my brawl battles this time earning 3 losses for this time of the brawl battles. Getting good results is not always on the players skill. Sometimes it really is on the luck.
The result of our guild for this Guild rank battle ended third. Those two above us got head to head with their results. We still got decent amount of rewards wit our ranking giving us 4150 merits and 34 sps.
Saved enough merits to buy 2 gladius cases and of course I won't miss this time to mint new gladiator cards. It is a good practice to mint this cards for there are good cards that can be oof use to your deck of your choice. You can build your deck bit by bit as you see fit. Weather you want to rent your team or own, these gladiator cards can share their purpose with what you build on your collections.
Got some decent cards for my collection this time. Marisol Contuma is a good card to collect in my opinion.
A Guild Brawl Battle Sample with New Beluroc Aegis as the Tank.
If you are familiar with the card New Beluroc Aegis from the Frontier card series you must had been using frequently in the Frontier rank battles. I am also spamming this card frequently because of its neutral element and can fit mostly of my team because of its taunt ability. So with taunt ability, I am not placing this card on the frontline as much as possible. I believed that it is much more functionable in the back area as it can divert some offensive attacks coming from the opponents team then will lessen the attacking pressure on m frontmost cover. It is not always gonna be a sure win with this set up but it is most likely will give a good result. This time, I will entrust my front most card to Beluroc and see what its got. This is a sample Guild Brawl battle by the way am I am still a force in the fray 1 battles that is given to the Frontier card users. The battle will be between dragon and life splinters that is under Close Range, Explosive Weaponry and Up to Eleven in the rulesets. And it is also limit to 77 mana capacity. Since Life Summoner is an additional boosts to armor, it is better to use Magic damage offensive team to bypass such annoying cover. But what I did is the opposite. I made an experiment for this time. Let see if it works. New Beluroc Aegis will be my frontal cover folllowed by a gladiator card Marisol Contuma. Sherringham Logger and Vengeful Monk filling my melee offensive that got sneak and opportunity abilities. Celestial Guardian will be my only Magical attacking card followed by A'lan Musketeer as my rearest part of my team. I am facing opponent that got much more Magical attacking cards and Katie was there too. Lets see what happened with my experimental team.
Its a bit unfortunate but in just first round of the Battle, New Beluroc Aegis got eliminated. But still, having most of the attacks hit it and Marisol Contuma Persivere with the Explosive Weaponry, my team still got a chance to turn the table.
Ok, i guess this fight is a bit exciting that even luck played a very vital role in the battle. The missed attack of my opponent's A'lan is surely made some room for higher chances of winning in my part.
Round 3 seems to be the round ender for this battle. Marisol of my team ended two cards on its single strike. That Explosive Weaponry really came handy.
- Overall experience for New Beluroc Aegis up front is really something to think about. Its life is not that sturdy to be taking up front. This is just me though. You might have a better plan to this card. Its really better to use it as a diversion card in my opinion.
