Hello friends, it's been a while since I posted anything, I told you recently that I had taken a tour of Lonigo, this city located in the province of Vicenza and which in my opinion is absolutely worth visiting, but above all I would like to tell you about a church that in my opinion is worth visiting if you come to this place, a church that dates back to 1500 even if it has been modified over time and in recent years it has also been restored and therefore made very accessible not only to the faithful but also to tourists who come to these parts.

this is practically the church dedicated to Saints Cristoforo Quirico and Giuditta, practically here there was an ancient parish church from the 1500s which was then expanded in the 1600s precisely because the number of faithful grew, a truly particular thing is that there is an organ which practically dates back to the 1800s and it is something truly particular and built by local artists.

What fascinates me about these places when I visit these cities is precisely finding these very particular churches and among other things this one has also been restored recently thanks to various contributions that come from the 8 per thousand, but above all it must always be remembered that beyond being places of faith these churches are ultimately also museums because they have works of art that date back to 1500 and which therefore rightly must be passed down to the new generations.

By the way, the field of this church is very old, and it is very important for the locals because with its bells it keeps people company, let's say.
I hope the story of this church was interesting. I hope you can also visit these cities. See you in my next post.
