Phone Photography Contest #43 - A day at Swimming Pool

Another round on the run, I enjoyed the contest because I need a place to keep my photos, LOL. Thanks for @untilwelearn for hosting the contest!!

Dear Phonographers!

Yaaayyy... I made it, a selfie with water splashing and freezing in frame!

Last Tuesday, January 14th, 2025. I skipped my Tuesday swimming with the healthiness swimming group at a private swimming pool where I'm a regular member, and went swimming with my hubby instead. I've been longing to try to swim at the famous swimming pool in Pamulang, Kolam Tasa. I often pass the place when I had my morning walk with hubby. He told me that he'd been there many times in the past to train children to swim. Oh, I'm also his trainee now. So, Why not?. My swimming group refused to swim there because it's a semi public swimming pool which mean it's not for woman only.

The front view of Kolam Tasa. I already use the parking lot for motorcycle/bike photo on other platform, sigh... why did I took just one shot

The parking lot is at the right side of this compound. A cafe and garden with several big trees, a perfect place to spend with friends and family, or even you can throw a party there too. They offer the package for that occasion.

What do you think?

My hubby was a bit impatience that day, because I took too much time exploring around, LOL. But, what can he do about it? His wife is an explorer. I try to snap some picture here and there before I run to him to the register desk to get the entry ticket to swim.

I saw the door and wandering what's behind it? it's another garden with kindergarten and house of the owner. So, I didn't go through, maybe next time.

Because, once I turn my head to the left and I saw this!!

Soooo cool and quiet! can't wait to jump in😂alright, this one is for children, hold your reign cici!!

Here come the pool for adults😍 hey, hello pools.. I'm a newcomer here, please let me have fun, okay?

So lucky because not many people around, as if this is my private swimming pool

Hubby was changing into his swim suit and I just need to undress my outfit. Already wear my black-blue swimsuit. I need to put on the earplugs, minus goggles and get the nose clip also my orange fin, put my phone in the anti-water plastic cover (I dunno what you call it in English, too lazy to check on google). I'm here to swim anyway. Hubby was calling me to jump in, he's already in the middle depth of the pool. I didn't care to do warm up, I jump in and kicking the water with my back on the surface to reach for him. Hehehe, my favorite's swimming style. Let the sun burns my face!

Wait, I like the palm trees, and I imagined how nice if we can swim at night here. But, the place is close at 6 PM. Well, maybe a private party one day. Hubby was challenging me to show him my progress on swimming. That was our third times swim together. I learned to swim 3 months ago under his supervision and direction. Several short laps of freestyle, dog paddling and breaststroke, he let me go to get a rest. Hehehe... Photo time!!

small water fountain again, yaaayyy.. I got an idea!! but I need a model first before I try it myself

Gotcha!!

I think it's cool! so I asked him to take my photo instead of doing selfie. But,

Not perfect, but it's fine🤪that small fountain was quite strong, but at least I don't need to create splashing water by myself, hehe

I did another several laps of back floating, diving and freestyle until I feel discomfort in my stomach. We decided to get out and had our lunch before we went home. I swam with empty stomach, no warming up and no wonder if I feel that way.

One more snap before we left. I suggested to have our lunch at the Garden Cafe, and there we go. Tbh, I need few more photos for my collection😅 while waiting for the food we ordered, I roaming around the garden.

Chicken Noodles, plain tea are enough to fill in my empty stomach. We sat under the tamarind tree and enjoy the atmosphere. Kids with their caretakers were having lunch at the swing under Rambutan and Sapodilla Plum trees, a cat napping on the wood table, we finished our lunch and left through the entry gate. I'll be back!!

With a thought that I probably too tired to do the cooking for my father-in-law, Hubby was offering me to buy ready-to-eat dishes for lunch and dinner. I agreed and we stop by the Yellow Chicken Curry seller. I don't have to say anything, because they already know what's the favorite amount and type we ordered.

one of the reasons why I love taking people's photos. Their smiles! The seller smile at me when he saw me taking the picture of him, thanks Mas!

All pictures were taken with Poco X3 GT, using photo and portrait, HDR auto, flash auto. I didn't do editing because the camera already done its job nicely.

I transferred the photos from phone to my laptop to make it easier for me to choose the related photos for the post. English is my third language, I don't use google translate or Chatgpt (I don't even know what is that🫣) and I always proud with My broken English style, @headchange, @gillianpearce, @lizelle knows it all. I'm not a professional photographer too. I have camera in my phone, I love documented the moments and here I am, enjoying the contest for fun!.

Thanks for stopping by and See you around soon 🤗Gotta play some battles in splinterlands before I sleep😆

Seeing all these pictures it seems that both of you are professional swimmers and at the same time you are an explorer and a good photographer too. Wow! 3 talents in one girl! 😄 Btw this place looks so calm and beautiful. I also really liked that door, the plants and sculptures on both sides of it are giving a very natural and fresh vibe!

Those facilities have a good design, it was worth exploring.

That pool makes me a little homesick, it reminds me of a thermal pool I used to go swimming in when I was a kid.

I haven't been to a pool in years, I feel like a fish out of water.

I can tell you had a great time. Swimming with your husband and exploring new places sounds like a perfect plan especially to break the routine. And those photos, they were great, plus for this contest you didn't just put three photos as I sometimes do, you put several to choose from, and I really liked that selfie with the water splashes, a success.

Some people dislike swimin because it is a cold sport, do not understand the benefits for your health specially in the early morning. Great place, very clean by the way.

You nailed it, It's really nice to hear that you're becoming a swimmer. Last year, I also started learning skilled swimming, and now, whenever I find a water body, I just dive in. The pool in the photos looks absolutely amazing.

The place looks nice and the pool is very nice. I also like going to the pool. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos, dear @cicisaja . A big hug from Maracay.

Wow The place looks so cool. I love the separation of having two swimming pools, creating a separate, beautiful, and children friendly one.

I love love the first photo, the shot was taken in a perfect timing.

Glad you enjoyed your day😊 Blessings.
