Best regards Splinterlovers 💚

About a week ago, I published an initial post discussing what it takes for a beginner to make money in the game. While that first part was a bit basic, so to speak, it’s necessary to understand everything that follows, because we’re far from having absolutely all the details needed to be relatively successful in Splinterlands. Although the reality is that this is hard work and takes quite a bit of time—it’s not something that happens overnight—it requires consistency from each player. But once you learn the ropes and grow fond of the game, it becomes very easy.

Of course, what I mentioned in the previous post—for those who haven’t read it, click HERE, you can read it without any trouble—it’s essentially the first thing you need to do. But in this post, we’re going to go a little further, since I’ll explain many other options we need to consider for managing the game. in fact, these are essential tools for achieving optimal progress. So, in this post, I’ll explain the “Rental” tools you’ll need along with other details; I’ll also cover the most important aspects of SPS staking and, finally, a few other strategies.

So, if you’re new to the game and don’t know what to do, stick around until the end of this post so you can learn all about this. As I said, this is especially important if you’re new to the game, because much of this information isn’t widely available, and it’s through this content that you’ll be able to learn:

"Low-Cost" Rentals on Peakmonsters or SplinterHub

Well, one of the most important steps you need to take—especially if you’re new and just starting to collect your first SPS or DEC, respectively, which are usually earned through battles in “Ranked” matches as I explained last time— The idea here is to use those rewards to speed up your progress—in this case, by increasing your win rate—all thanks to strategic rentals you make through platforms like “Peakmonsters” and “SplinterHub.”

But I imagine you’re wondering what you need to do to rent as efficiently as possible, so keep reading to find out:

Here Are the “Rules” of Efficient RENTING for BEGINNERS

Since this information is aimed at new players, the tier I’m focusing on is “BRONZE.” I’m clarifying this because strategies for progressing in higher tiers tend to vary.

  • Key Level 2 Summoners (BRONZE): In BRONZE—and in almost any league—the least experienced players tend to focus on hiring Legendary “Summoners/Archons,” which are generally very useful and powerful but, in most scenarios, cannot be played due to their high mana cost. Even when they can be played, they consume too many resources to build an optimal lineup. However, if you focus on Rare “Summoners” with lower mana costs—many of which are also effective—your strategy and its optimization change, making the game easier to play.

  • Tanks and Units with (Opportunity and Sneak): To ensure you always have a balanced combination suited to virtually any situation in the game, the idea is to recruit “Tanks” for your deck so they can hold the front line. On the other hand, you’ll need “Assassins,” which aren’t very common in BRONZE, but they do exist. When I say “Assassins,” I’m referring to units with abilities like (Opportunity and Sneak), which focus on specific attacks on the battlefield.

  • Play in the “Modern Format”: Although this has relatively little to do with “Renting,” the idea is to stick with this format because, while many players will rent cards—which is much more economical for those with limited resources—in “Wild Format” you have to purchase the “Wild Pass,” which is an additional expense on top of rental costs and reduces the potential profit you could earn during the season.

SPS Staking and Collection Acceleration Strategies

I’ve mentioned this many times before, but it’s something very important that I must always keep in mind—especially for newcomers—since many people think it’s just about the cards, but in reality, it goes far beyond that. The ecosystem revolves around SPS, which is the “Governance” token, but it’s also the reward token, However, these aren’t the only uses for SPS, since it’s needed to increase our reward multiplier. Therefore, I need to explain the benefits of staking:

  • Increased RSHARES Reward Multiplier: For me, this is one of the most important benefits of SPS in the game, as it maintains a constant interest in SPS; therefore, the more you have, the more your multiplier will increase, leading to greater SPS and GLINT earnings per battle won.

  • Passive VOUCHER Generation: Not only does SPS help with the reward multiplier, but it also aids in the passive generation of VOUCHERS through staking, which generates additional income that we can use in various ways according to our own interests—we can apply it toward our rentals, or simply take it as net profit, etc.

  • The Power of Governance: I don’t need to tell you about the power of governance, since the more SPS we have in our coffers, the greater our voting power will be when proposals are put forward.

Strategies for Accelerating Our Collection

  • Joining a Guild: This is something I highly recommend because, although it depends a lot on the guild you join, it’s generally free and depends heavily on your level as a player. On the other hand, this allows you to participate in “Guild Battles,” where you can also earn SPS by fighting.

  • Campaign Mode: Here, you not only learn the game mechanics—and, if you like, game strategies—but you also earn “Free Cards” from the Foundations set. This is a win-win, since you can use them in Ranked matches in the “Modern Format.”

  • Create Quality Content on HIVE: This is another way to progress, expand your collections, and, of course, earn much more along the way to accelerate your card collection. However, this isn’t something to be taken lightly, since you must create content to share your experience with others—that’s what brings the real rewards.

##

Conclusion

I hope this has been helpful, since it complements the post I shared earlier. With this, you can now move forward step by step and have a clear roadmap to guide you along the way. After all, to win in “Splinterlands,” we shouldn’t start off aimlessly—especially if we’re investing our own money. I hope this helps, but if you have any questions, feel free to comment on this post.

I invite everyone to join Splinterlands, the best game based on chains of blocks, full of adventures, battles, and strategies where you will have fun and get rewards according to your league
