"Childer" tells the captivating story of a typical young boy, Mark, who just wants to lead a normal life like all the other boys and girls.
He lives with his reclusive mother in a secluded house surrounded by a forest. His mother, Mary suffers from an extreme case of OCD and has an irrational fear of dirt. To add to her problems, she is tormented and harassed by a group of mysterious and "dirty" children who lurk in the nearby forest.
One day after pleading with his mother, he is allowed to go out and play but warned "Don't get dirty." What could possibly go wrong?
This short horror film is full of mystery and atmosphere and the story is unique and delivered well by great actors. Highly recommended!
