Today, there was electricity at my workplace; there was coffee ☕☕ and happiness, because coffee brings 😂 😂 happiness. Upon arriving at my institution and checking my schedule, I realized it was actually my day off—phew! 😵💫 I regretted not noticing sooner; it was already too late to run an errand in Valencia, which would have been perfect to do today.
I took the opportunity to handle some paperwork at the school regarding a transfer I am about to make. I submitted my statement of reasons, but first, I had to go out and print two copies at a copy shop on the avenue—I had to take advantage of the fact that there was electricity 🔌💡. Some businesses come to a standstill for 6 to 8 hours without power; it is a truly unfortunate situation for a country facing so many economic problems.
However, in my view, it isn't all bad news. I learned from reliable sources—through an acquaintance whose son is an electrical engineer and a regional coordinator for one of the public companies under the National Electric Corporation—that work is being done to improve the country's electrical infrastructure. That said, it is a process that takes time; the destruction has been on a massive scale, and years of corruption and mismanagement have devastated what was once one of the best-built electrical systems in all of Latin America:

Its official name is the "Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Power Plant," and it is located in Bolívar State on the Caroní River. It is one of the most impressive engineering feats in Latin America and serves as Venezuela's primary source of electric power.* It stands as a symbol of the great ingenuity behind the country's hydroelectric development in the 1960s—an achievement that socialism reduced to dust over 26 years of "robolution" (a play on words combining "robbery" and "revolution").
But anyway, let's talk about beautiful things. Before graduating, fifth-year students are required to complete a community service project for the school; last year, some of them painted several murals highlighting the country's indigenous spirit. Today, I walked into a classroom featuring one of these lovely murals—it was truly beautiful, and I was struck by its vibrant colors and the powerful impression it made.
As I was leaving—and as I always do on my way to the bus stop—I gazed at the sky, nature, the clouds, and the sun. Suddenly, I spotted some beautiful flowers adorning the windows of a house; I seized the moment and took a few photos.
When I got home, there was no electricity 💡 🔌, but there was delicious coffee with milk and bread.

Hoy si hubo electricidad en mi lugar de trabajo, hubo café ☕☕ hubo felicidad porque el café da 😂 😂 felicidad. Al llegar a mi institución y mirar mi horario me di cuenta que hoy era mi día libre ufff 😵💫 lamente no haberme dado cuenta antes, ya era tarde para hacer una diligencia en Valencia, y hubiese sido perfecta hacerla hoy.
Aproveché para hacer un papeleo en el liceo sobre un traslado que estoy a punto de realizar, entregué mi exposición de motivos, pero antes tuve que salir a imprimir dos copias en la fotocopiadora de la avenida había que aprovechar que había electricidad 🔌💡 algunos negocios se paralizan las 6 y hasta 8 horas sin energía eléctrica, es un situación muy lamentable para un país con tantos problemas económicos.
Pero a mí parecer no todo son malas noticias pude enterarme de fuentes fidedignas por una conocida cuyo hijo es ingeniero eléctrico y es coordinador territorial en una de las empresas publicas de la corporación eléctrica nacional que en el país se está trabajando en la mejora eléctrica, sin embargo, es un proceso que lleva tiempo, la destrucción ha sido de niveles descomunales y tantos años de corrupción y mala administración han acabado con uno de los sistemas eléctricos mejor construidos de toda latinoamerica :

Su nombre oficial "La Central Hidroeléctrica Simón Bolívar", está ubicada en el estado Bolívar sobre el río Caroní. Es una de las obras de ingeniería más imponentes de América Latina y constituye la principal fuente de energía eléctrica de Venezuela. Una obra símbolo del gran ingenio del desarrollo hidroeléctrico del país en las décadas de los años 60 pero que el socialismo volvió polvo en 26 años de '"robolucion".
Pero bueno, hablemos de cosas hermosas, los estudiantes de 5to año antes de graduarse tienen que dejar una labor social a la institución y algunos de ellos el año pasado pintaron varios murales que resaltarán el sentido autóctono del país y hoy entré a unos de los salones que tenía un bello mural, muy hermoso, me llamó la atención lo colorido y la fuerza que imprime.
Al retirarme, como siempre que hago camino a la parada de mi bus, contempló el cielo, la naturaleza, las nubes, el sol y de repente allí estaban unas bellas flores que adornaban las ventanas de una casa, aproveche la ocasión y tomé algunas fotos.
Al llegar a mi casa, no había electricidad 💡 🔌 pero si había un rico café con leche y pan.
